I'm not sure how I shuold play this expansions; I did not found where in the rule if should exaclty play.

My main concern is about the old defiance team when i start the new campaign.... I have to restart the team, with zero experience and zero equipment, or go on with my old team as it was after the last mission?

If the team is not "resetted", The new mission look easy; mixing the old cast with new guys will not be useful, since there is a lot of difference between the old guys and the fresh blood. Also, the team after the final mission is so powerful it will not have a lot of option to increase their skill and equipment.

Viceversa, if I reset old team... how it will fit the narrative? they have all equipment stripped and the skills are forgotten?

Or I should just play with brand new team of 4 new guys?

Whichever characters you choose they begin the expansions as if it was a new campaign, you can fluff it as the effects of being in prison, or having to recover from the events of the previous campaign, getting back into the swing of things, etc. The expansion campaigns are shorter but you also advance faster, so you should be quite powerful by the end of each campaign.

Yes you have to reset, you have the explanation in the rules but you have to read the whole page:
    - Outcast/Revenant: p13, Campagn Game

It's probably best to follow the rules (so in Outcast use Cho as the leader), as there doesn't seem to be a test to play otherwise.
And don't use the extra characters if you are going to include the extra missions in the continuity of the campaign.

Depends on the character, the Chonky Yuan Yuan doesn't have a mission so is a safe pick, and a lot of fun!

They've been chilling in prison for a year by now and most of them turned into speculo agents anyway (thx to a dumb twist in the end) so whatever...

Thank you for the reply. Last question: should I play outcast first and revenant second, viceversa, or it really doesn't matter?

In terms of narrative Outcast picks up from the end of the Defiance campaign, and Revenant is set after the end of Defiance, though there's a bit of a time skip been each one.
