I've spent a huge amount of time making a show for my YouTube channel called 'Tablegame Funtimes'. It's a series of sitcom episodes about a group of young women who play infinity the game by Corvus Belli. The idea came to me last year when Bostria characterized my YouTube comedy sketches as 'sitcom' style. I've come up with a show that celebrates wargaming culture while making fun of it at the same time. There are a lot of references that only people who play N4 will understand. I've also taken hundreds of shots of miniatures and gaming terrain to put together stop-motion animation scenes depicting infinity action scenes, which has been quite popular. Check it out, there will be several of these action sequences per episode. Surprisingly, when I emailed CB after posting the first instalment, they were very responsive to it, and Bostria told me that they all watched it at the company meeting a few days later. Their CEO has been communicating a lot more with me via email as a result, which is cool. I don't expect much in terms of outcome from that, but it's cool that they like the project. First episode came out April 20th, and I'll add to the thread when episode 2 comes out June 2nd.
Episode 2 of the show is out. I managed to improve the quality of the stop-motion animation cinematics a lot, trigger the shutter of a DSLR camera remotely so that you don't accidentally alter its position really helps. Some of the live action scenes are done with a new microphone too, so that helped.
Linking the third episode which actually came out a fair while ago, easily the best instalment so far though. Another one dropping next week.
Looks like I haven't been regularly updating this thread as often as I planned to. Here's episode 4 which covered the Durgama Takeover campaign... lots of fun: And the more recent episode in which the Rapid Enforcement Cruiser TAG for O-12 was debuted, and Warcrow reviewed:
We have a new one out now, and it starts with an intensely violent animated cinematic portraying the battle between Aleph and Combined army. Also, Steel Phalanx take on Hector's O-12 in the battle for Troy.
The latest instalment features voice actors from the infinity community in Europe, including some of the guys from Spain and Poland, have a look:
We got there--the season finale is out. Somehow managed to do an 8-part comedy series about infinity, only took a year and a half. Please give it a watch, we got a really good result.
I've really enjoyed the episdodes! Looking forward to watching the last couple back to back for a big finish. year and half is better than many mainstream shows for output, so thats a huge effort.
The last couple installments are real bangers, and the story is kinda continuous so they're good to watch in the one sitting :)
