I'm supposed to play Biotechvore with a QK list tonight and decided to brush up on all my classifieds. I never realized how many the Druze hacker can complete. Is there anyone that can do more than 13/20? If the X-visor counted for for HVT: Identity Check she would be 14/20.
Zoe is an Engineer + Hacker + Character, so she can do all of the Veteran/D-Charge/Engineer/Hacker ones for a total of 15. She also comes with Pi-Well, who is an FO and has Sensor, so he can do 8 as well (No damaging CCW for Predator), though only 1 of those (HVT: Identity Check) is something Zoe can't do. Combined they can do 16 different Classifieds.
hackers Santiago and Knight of Justices (also FO) are not bad either... Elite troops, HI, D-Charges, hacker... 14/20 if i counted correctly
The Evader Engineer with Spitfire is a perfect encapsulation of Nomad jack-of-all-trades mentality. It's maybe not a good idea to actually use one but it is an entertaining idea. I'll have to heckle my brother into trying it out.
The Evader Engineer AP Spitfire is one of the best models in Corregidor and sees a ton of play. It's the only B4 AP option you've got, and with Wildcard it can easily slot into any Fireteam you fancy. Unless you're talking about Vanilla, but even there it's still a 34 point AP Spitfire with 2 wounds, Engineer, Climbing+, D-Charges, and a Firewall. It's the absolute poster child for "undercosted".
@Delta57Dash , really? I hadn't expected it to be that popular. Like it's a solid unit but I was anticipating people would be more averse to potentially losing a specialist and hitting piece in one swing of bad luck. Maybe I'm just over cautious.
It’s only 34 points. That is DIRT cheap for what you’re getting. And it’s still an HI with NWI, so you’re not likely to lose it to a single bad roll. It’s stupidly good.
For 34 points it's a steal for both roles. I've seen it pull weight in Vanilla Nomads. The only things it doesn't do are anti-trooper CC (it busts objectives just fine) and vision shenanigans. You usually need to fork out for a TAG to get even close to the versatility that one ORC-priced Engineer has.
I've never seen 'it's too good at too many things for too cheap' to be considered a weakness until now. Back on topic, Zhanying hacker gets 12, putting her close to the Druze HD (would have tied if she also got Sensor, but alas).
Thread Necro as this table is great: The new Bokhtar Paramedic can accomplish 13 of the Classifeds and can be a LT.
The Bohktar Paramedic with BSG, D-Charges can do work in Classified. Not a CC specialist but still CC20 with a D Charge.
Nice work! I did something similar but somehow managed to delete it a few years ago A few things I observed though: HVT: Inoculation requires Base Contact. HVT: ID Check requires LOF and ZOC. I'd add Sensor: ZOC in the notes. Rescue requires Base Contact with an Ally and I'd add outside DZ in the notes column. Also for Mapping and Sabotage I'd suggest Scenery as the Target instead of Zone.
I’ve also got a spreadsheet! Best I found in CA is Victor Messer at 13/20 and Yaogat HD at 14/20. Umbra Legate HD+ is also pretty good at 12/20. It also has FD+8 which is nice. I haven’t checked O-12 thoroughly but you’ve got the Betatrooper Doc at 13/20.
The Knight of Justice do 14/20 (hacker, elite, IP, charge -D) and It is a reliable specialist with two wounds, ARM 5 and BTS 9... and also very expensive.
