I have a question about damage dealt to Moonchild and Transmutation skill. What will happen when Moonchild in Dogface form would receive 3 or more damage? Immediately after receiving second wound she will transform into Dog-Warrior. But what about next damage points - are they "lost" or Dog-Warrior get them?

In example Moonchild Dogface have 2 hit points and gets 4 damage from attack. She is transforming to Dog-Warrior with all 4 hit points or only with 2hp?
    Thanks for answer!

    Hi!

The normal way is that extra damages are lost.
There is an exception with the card of Shona called Amputate, please read the FAQ below:

Q: How is “Amputate” resolved against Moonchild in Dogface
    form?
A: The Resolution of the Attack must be resolved first.
This means that if the damage dealt is enough to activate
“Transmutation”, Moonchild is flipped to her Dog-Warrior form.
Since Shona has dealt at least 1 damage, Moonchild receives as many
Damage tokens as her Wounds Attribute, so she is sent to
    the Infirmary.
