Hi there. I have realised that i am playing more with camo tokens then painted minis and thinking how to make some fancy camo tokens with silhouette volume. I found one example from Nazroth but wonder if i can see more ideas. Has anybody have some DIY camo token/silhouette ideas ?
I wouldn't call them fancy, but... The one in center is an actual Infinity model (al'Hawwa, a Haqq Camo Infiltrator). The other two are kitbashed from el cheapo plastic futuristic soldier models (from two different manufacturers). Painted in camouflage-like colored stripes, without a front arc (as Camo Markers don't have arcs...) and, as you see, labelled on the base. Numbers allow me to keep track of what is what (or rather, I use different look of them - I own 5 Camo and 1 TO Camo at this moment. Yes, they were made years before current iteration of rules. So they aren't exactly on point with being Camo 0, -3 or -6, but they make do). And they are close enough to a S2 Infinity model to be... beliveable. If I had a Camo model on a 40 or 55mm base, I'd likely paint some small figure from a toy store for the role. Or get someting 3d-printed. Or fish a wargaming model from a discount bin at a gaming store. You catch my drift. The point is: I put it on the table, it looks the part, and once I tell my opponent "this here is a Camo Marker", they don't have any trouble following it or identifying it on the table.
I have a friend who cut some 1" Dowel to the right heights for S2 (since the actual silhouette is a cylinder) then painted those in a camo scheme.
These pieces, like camo markers, are really awesone. Are there pieces of these in other sizes? because as pieces to see the size of the Silhouette of a miniature could also be great.

I printed camo tokens on cardstock and then printed circle tokens with the art for the model on the other side. So, they are just plain tokens, but I flip them over and they show mine or the correct models.
I use some clear acrylic minis fromm a sedition wars Kickstarter add on, glued to MAS acrylic markers. Can take a picture later
Oh man, I've got those in a box somewhere. That's a great use for something that I've never actually used otherwise.
