    Hi guys,
I'm thinking about coming back to infinity and buying one of bigger Ariadna boxes. TAK army pack or operation crimson stone + beyond. Which Ariadna sectorial is better right now, or to phrase it differently, which gives more options? When I look at Kosmoflot models range I feel like there is a lot of things missing and on the other hand TAK models are great (frontoviks, kazaks etc). I'm not a big fan of dog people models. Bear is ok. Tell me something interesting about those sectorials please.

Enough of the models are useful in both, either directly, or as a very close proxy (a few Kosmo units are basically a TAK unit in a spacesuit anyway...) for an equivalent unit, that you don't really have to choose. The TAK army pack will be cheaper, but the nomads in crimson stone might get you enough if you split them off to cover the cost of the TAK pack as well so you'd have a pretty solid foundation to play both sectorials.

As far as the meta of the game goes, they're pretty much in the same spot, highly competitive lists can be made in both, but Kosmo comes out just ahead for most people because it has a few more new(to Ariadna...) toys and skills to play with.

Kosmoflot can deploy a nasty pure defensive link made of very cheap Rokots + Volkolak ML, who will turn into a scary ARO piece. Total immunity, ARM 4, NWI and PH14 mean that this guy is not easy to take down and can be healed by the rokot paramedic pretty reliably.

TAK is basically the other end of the spectrum where you have to invest a lot of points if you want a pure core link, because that's likely going to be Frontoviks + Vet Kazaks. Scaling this down to a Haris might be a good option instead to save some points.

You can also have a cheap defensive link consisting of Line Kazaks (maybe + Voronin if you bring him), but it's not nearly as scary as the Volkolak one.

So you are suggesting buying cooler models and using them as both? Who would be a good proxy for Volkolak ML?
What are other key units in both sectorials?
I love Tankhunter models, but I guess they aren't the best choice in TAK.

I don't believe there is that much overlap between the two. Some things that come to mind:

    - Tankhunter Autocannon can be used as Volkolak ML proxy in Kosmoflot and as the actual profile in TAK
    - 112 on bike is a great specialist for both sectorials
    - Irmandinhos are solid warbands/engineers for both sectorials
    - Frontoviks can be used for Fireteams in Kosmoflot as well, but I'm not sure how feasible this is. The T2 Rifle/LRL one could double as a Mekhanik in Kosmoflot, as there is no sculpt available for them yet

Another option would be to just focus on one sectorial and branch into Vanilla instead of trying to build around two sectorials.

The overlap units are Frontoviks, Irmandhinos, kazak doctor, Pavel and then the 112/dozer/wardriver/warcor/muls like every other sectorial.

For close matches we've got Rokots, or "line kazak in space with SMG options", Zenit-7 or "scouts in space", and Kosmosoldat or "Veteran Kazak buzz lightyear cosplay".

Then there's two more that don't technically fit yet: Patchers and Chernobog. USARF, CHA, and TAK don't have non merc tags yet, but when/if they do Cherno seems pretty obviously the TAK choice, and the patchers are marked S2 right now, but the dossier-and profile- is 100% a Starcraft Marine. No wait, I mean it's Blackjack Buffalo armour derived just like the Ratnik, so I don't think it's much of a stretch to think that they'll jump to s5 when the mini won't fit on a 25mm base...

EDIT: it's actually possible to make a not-very-effective-but-still-legal all TAK Kosmoflot list:

    Open in Infinity Army
The Elektroniks would be missing in the version made with TAK, but you could easily make up the points by using Kuryers in place of Muls...

How good are named characters in Ariadna?
Are „first strike” and Wolf worth it? I guess Uxia, Duroc and Ranger are usefull.

Pavel is a bit under optimal, between the redundant gear and skills he'll only get 1 use out of or never use at all he's mostly just outclassed at everything he can do by something else in Kosmoflot for less points, and he can't be put in a fireteam to regulate his frenzy... I'm sure there are niche uses for him, but he's just too much of an odd duck to rely on.
