Thank you, I've been getting quite a bit feedback on those - people seem to be liking the little gradient thingie.
The second biggest boy of Defiance is done. So close to finishing it... that I of course had to get the two expansions as well, which I skipped in the KS. I'm beyond help.
Here we go with the last model (except for the Megalodron) from my Defiance pledge... but since I couldn't resist the recent shop offer, Revenant and Outcast are on their way with reinforcements. And then onwards with a new Haqqislam model. First time trying my hand on a holomask effect.
I think you did a great job with that holomask effect! I also just noticed your LoF markers. That's a nice idea, and a good execution. Love the dots to signify the different troops.
Back from the holiday (awesome hiking on the Outer Hebrides) and back to the painting table with an HVT and Yasbir.
That's a rare mini to see. And you did a great job on him. With Ko Dali, however, you outdid yourself. Fantastic work!
I realy love ur paintjob, remarkable work, especially considering the amount of minis you paint. But: Whats your set-up to get this great pictures of the minis in this size? mine are always either too dark or too bright or blurred =(
Thank you for your kind words! This is my little impromptu photo studio setup: The important bits (besides a decent camera) are the daylight lamp (normally used for painting) that I can pull in closely over the mini, and the tripod for my smartphone. I also have a pretty okay Panasonic digicam that I can put on the tripod, but the camera on my Google Pixel 3a is so good that I don't really need it.
