Enemy model (1 wound) with Dogged is being hit by multiple aro shots and fails 4 saving rolls (3 supression fire + another shot).

My opponent said the rule works like this :
After the first saving fail he enters unconcious state and triggers the Dogged skill.
Since all happens simultainous, the damage from the other 3 saving fails are not being count and are not applied as of dogged condition.
Thus the model can live until the end of the player turn and receive orders.
    Correct?

Or are all 4 damage points applied at once? The model is dead immediately without the possibility to trigger dogged?

The trooper will be dead at the end of the order. Since nothing in the Dogged rule allowes to just randomly ignore loss of wounds

    The rules say:

"If the value of the Wounds/STR Attribute of a Trooper reaches 0, then that Trooper enters the Unconscious state.
However, if the Wounds/STR Attribute falls below 0, the Trooper enters the Dead state."

Here, the Trooper took 4 wounds so it entered the Dead state, not the Unconscious state. So, the Requirement for Dogged that "The Trooper entered Unconscious State" is never triggered, as the Trooper does straight to Dead.

Alternatively, if the wounds were applied sequentially, then the first wound would trigger Dogged but the second would trigger "If the Trooper loses one or more further points of his Wounds Attribute, he enters the Dead State directly" in the Dogged rule, so the result would be the same.

Doesn't enter unconscious state at all, goes straight to -3W which is very very dead.

To further expand your opponents logic, nothing would ever go past unconscious in a single order.

You do all your maths before looking at states.

As about the two most complex situations this occurs in:

if Nourkias had 2 power up markers from protheion and kills and inflicts 6 more wounds in CC (which he can do) and loses 9 wounds

he has 3W at the start of the order, he loses a net 3 going to 0 and activates no wound incapacitation (which has the same trigger as dogged)

If he inflicted 5 and lost 9 he'd go straight to dead. as he'd be at -1 overall

A su jian has remote presence, 2W and NWI, if it takes 3 wounds from a Missile launcher it would go to -1W, because of remote presence this is Unconcious L2 so it triggers NWI, if it was crit and suffered all 4W it would go straight to dead.
