Really? You lost goodwill over defiance? It was a tremendous deal, a solid game we've had fun playing, and all things equal for a kickstarter on time (especially given a pandemic).

 

I'm not gonna go into all the gory detail, you can scour the Defiance threads for all the issues people had. Between horrible communication (not just about delays but about them as well), somewhat understandable delays (but not really when they became delays within delays within delays with poor communication about them and us having to drag information out), as well as complete lack of editing in the rulebooks which caused people to have a heap ton of questions of how to actually play the game even at the most basic level like starting loadouts or how to understand scenarios, missing cards for opponents who are directly called out in scenarios, missing or misprinted tokens (granted, later replaced)...

The minis were an excellent deal. The game, decent as it was at the core of it, was an utter QA joke.

Yeah, Defiance has lost much good will to the general customer, so much so that it could be seen for example in the comparably flopped TAG Raid campaign. But yeah, a lot of people are in denial as well and CB cannot do any wrong, so you will see negating voices as well.

 

Different folks have different expectations based on their own personal experiences. Doesn’t have to make sense to anyone except that person, and, of course, we don’t have to share the same set of expectations. Something you or I might see as well within tolerances can, to someone else, be an affront to all that is good.

 

Any chance of getting a dedicated Durgama campaign room in online events like we did for kurage and asteroid blues?

 

I think it might be a bit too late since we're past a quarter of the duration of the campaign already. ^^'

I believe psychoticstorm pinning of our various IC threads was the way to get dedicated "rooms" for Durgama.

 

Vince needs to Stick to sports, he can't even get the alliance names right...

 

I need these warcors, that unable to see difference between DDA and ICAF. Will teach them with using Kazak method

Did CB say anywhere that C1 Battles would count towards the event? If so, where did they say this? I figured they wouldn't but was told that they do..
