I've always loved the Bronze model and the idea of Total Immune heavy infantry is great. What is a good way to best use a Bronze?
Vanilla O-12 I can see the red fury just used as an direct attack piece and in Starmada a haris of a Bronze and Nyoka or Betatroopers looks appealing.

The Bronze eh? It's is a strange profile isn't it: horribly expensive but pretty unique. Great at trading shots with guns you normally shrink in fear from, a big old wedge of troubles if you can get him to the midfield, and fairly capable of boring a CC specialist to tears (-9 to hit and TI makes him hard to kill).

I can't speak to Starmada very much as I don't really play them enough (I'd favour a nyoka, psi-cop and bronze haris, proabably), but in O-12 he got a nice little buff recently, being the only home-grown O-12 unit to be able to duo. The other 4 units are all merc units (bounty hunter, miranda, varangian and MBH), which does annoy me a little; I think O-12 got stiffed in the recent update compared to every other vanilla faction.

Anyway, back to the Bronze. I suspect a trench-hammer varangian and a Bronze, probably a specialist operative, is the sweet spot. The varangian benefits (can now take cover and moves up to where it wants to be), throws smoke for the Bronze to progress up the board, and can intervene with a hammer to the face, or to add burst 2, in CC if need be. The Bronze is carrying a multirifle which is an excellent midfield gun, and a template with the LRS, and most importantly he's a button pusher that can tank shots and move under smoke to get his mission done.

The big big weakness of the Bronze is Hector. For ten points more you get an improved gun, godly CC, tinbot, strategos and an extra order. I mean, really, it's damn hard to justify, unless you have a specific plan in mind for the Bronze (hence the chain-smoking button pusher duo). Hope that's of some help, and welcome to the forums!

What do you think about Parvati? A doctor (2w) with WIP 15 sounds great in combination with Bronze to me (but it is expensive).

Are you playing armoury or panic room?
If yes, take a bronze with a backup Vguard. its great.

Otherwise it can awkward to leverage well especially considering other options that fill a similar role.
