I haven't played in forever, but this is crazy to me. When I started, Qapu Khalqi was the haris faction...now other factions can have 2 and QK can't? Scarface and Cordelia can't duo on QK? Such strange decisions. Are there any other things like this you find odd?
Yeah, this fireteam change has only been partially implemented. The favourite factions got a proper work over (MAF, kosmo, Corregidor etc) with the others severely lacking or just having a token gesture update. It's been said that there will be further changes to factions as time goes on but there were definite winners and losers with this
Yeah CB don't seem to be able to do a full release of anything now. Game is too big and bloated so everything seems to be phased. Playtesting took a bit hit with COVID restrictions too so everything is a bit behind the 8ball at present. Give it time and it should level out
One interesting thing QK did get was up to 2 Hafza that count as several units in Fireteams such as Janissaries, Sekban, Odalisques, etc letting you run a pure Fireteam with a cheaper cost, Janissaries going up to BS14 is pretty nice too. The Azra'il Haris looks like a lot of fun too.
I wouldn't count on it happening anytime soon. Maybe in a couple years... probably not until they redo the faction if that ever happens.
