On the weekend of the 23rd of January, when we should have been playing a 2 day small event but for covid, I managed to get all my light-up terrain assembled for some photos at least.

The city of NewHokk, in all of its sordid and sleazy glory.

I had some bits and pieces laying around, so I decided to put them to use and made some objective markers out of them. Consoles. The smaller ones have some lego 2x2 bricks as a base, with an antenocitis workshop screen. The other one has a mantic screen on a mdf crate objective. The set of 4 identical ones are warsenal.

Did up a few more units for this army.
2 Authorised bounty hunter (motorcycles) and a sidebot for my Lawkeeper proxy . Rather than mount them directly on the bikes, and have to use some sort of kludge to hold them there or make them swappable, I opted for the separately based riders. That way, when/if they dismount, I can leave the bike on its base as their 'home marker'.

I found an old PanO remote body (separate piece, not an auxbot. It had the socket under it for the remote legs) in the bits collection that with the addition of half a wheel, some rod and bits, became the sidebot. Should I ever get the chance to field the specialist options.

    Disaster struck!
That display board fell while I was moving other stuff around and sheared the background from the floorplate (and damaged the mdf in the process). I can fix or replace it (I have an ample supply of 3mm mdf and a bandsaw, as well as a scrollsaw) but at the moment, it's work that has to go on the backburner.
Fortunately, I was working on a second display board at the same time. An industrial hangar/cargo bay re-purposing bits from a previous project (the back wall is from a couple of the Kotobukiya "chain base" gundam diorama sets, the side wall is made up of mantic terrain panels. This works for my Neoterra, as well as corregidor and Starmada.

Thematic display really gives a boost to minis pics.
Sad to read about the scenery accident.

    Updates.

So, there's a small (80 player) infinity tourney running next weekend in my area. Unfortunately, I can't make it due to other commitments, but I could at least lend terrain - so when they announced it was going ahead, I pledged 2 tables ...

    But ...

We had a loooot of rain in the first few months of the year. My terrain is stored in a shed in my yard. That shed had a leak in the roof. One tub of terrain was under the leak, and I lost 6-7 buildings from this collection (shown) to water damage. Yeah, most of the lit up stuff. Disappointing, to say the least.

However, all was not lost. I have a very understanding wife-unit. Cue the purchase of some new building kits, and the scavenging through the damage to salvage what I could.

First up, a replacement for the police station and landing pad.

They're all lit up, like their predecessors, too.

I got given one of the old "Games&Gears" ks boards a couple of weeks ago.

This was just a test, seeing if it would work with the terrain I've got (my previous modular board has 4" wide roads, this one has 6" wide roads, which means the 'not road' bits tend more towards 9" than the 10" of my other board, so certain terrain pieces only fit in the middle zone. A good chunk of my stuff does fit into an 8" footprint, though.

I've still got to finish the board. It needs a grass mat piece glued to that tile, and a variegated grey patterning applied via airbrush to the main tiles (the art they showed for the "finished" tiles does not match the delivered product.)

This is how they were supposed to look (from what I have gathered).

    This is how they arrived.

So I'll be adding the extra grey "texturing" to those tiles.

It's been a long time between drinks. I've started work on the last building for this table.
Taking inspiration from one of my favourite computer games. The basic building structure is a rectangular box, 3 storeys tall. It's around 21cm tall, x 14.5cm x 14.5cm. Which works with most of the other buildings I have since they work off a 7cm level height.

It will be a deserted "Liberty In Mind and Body" (LIMB) clinic.

It's meant to evoke one of these from Deus Ex:Mankind Divided, not be a complete clone of it.

The canopy doesn't open, but there are a pile of screws that hold it all together. It might even be possible to remove the supine pilot inside (I fear, however, that the pilot and his couch are one piece, so you'd have to redo the interior if you wanted an empty cockpit).

But the control panels seem separate, so only needs a seat, which should be easy: card for main shape, (optionally) more card or putty to make some cushioning shapes, (optional super detail) some strips of paper and small plastic or card bit for the belt system. Done.

I'm not looking to make it into a display model, so it'll get a repaint, and the canopy will get a paint. No visible pilot, problem solved.

It also won't affect the primary usage - playing with it and making zoomy noises ... :D

Construction has begun on the LIMB clinic. Box structure undercoated and two of the facades have been mounted. There'll be two more then corner beading will be added to hid those edges - before I add signage and weather the entire thing.

Don't mind the surgical assistant drones. They're just lost.

I just got mine. I think I'll paint over the canopy and make it a drone. I really can't see something like that having a pilot in Infinity. We wouldn't have pilots now if we could!
