I couldn't find this one from when I first made it so I've re-made it. Inspiration comes from Jackie Chan

    ISS, Undercover Operations Agent
A section of the ISS that infiltrates criminal and terrorist organizations. Due to their clandestine operations they are usually lightly armed and armored but can scavenge and steal from the enemy when needed.

Light, Elite, Irregular (I was thinking Irregular due to the independent nature of the agent)
    MOV4-4 CC22 BS12 PH12 WIP14 ARM0 BTS3 W1 S2 AVA1

I would go for dodge (+3) and smoke on the heavy shaolin, could be cool on Jackie too. Hidden deploy and mimetism - 6 sounds more like a ninja than a shaolin. And knowing the hac tao hidden deploy, mimetism - 6 and forward deployment on a HI is extremely expensive.IIt might be just a little too much on one trooper. But that's just my opinion. Heavy shaolin could be cool and thematic.

I wanted a heavy druze unit, I posted them somewhere in the druze subforum. They where hard and extremely deadly in close quarters with heavy shotguns and the likes.

Another idea would be a trooper for yu jing with (tinbot) albedo, hidden deploy no mimetism, and long range weaponry. Multi sniper, Feuerbach, missle launcher. Maybe with marksmanship? Bs 12 or 13.

    Please add anything you want.

Shaolin Heavy: I thought smoke on him might be too good. I almost went for a Yu Jing Asawira. Maybe instead of Hidden Deployment it could be 1 use camo.

I like the idea and especialy the "Giant Killers" and the "Heavy Shaolin" but the first one has to many options in my opinion (It should be Breaker Combi Rifles as it is Yu Jing the second power in the sphere) and the second is a bit (just a tiny one ;-) too much and as Fed4ykin mentioned too much Ninja.

As I do not have done something similar I go with your baseline and do a bit modifiing as I think it would be more fitting - no critisizing of your work - just playing around with what you give.

ISS, Juren Shashou (Giant Killers). Huang Di Special Unit - because I think ISS need this more
Troops trained to take down the biggest threats. Mainly that is enemy TAGs.

    Medium, Veteran, Regular
Skills: Mimetisim -3, Climbing Plus,Terrain (Total), Fireteam: Haris, Duo - because I think a unit like this is not a candidate for core, maybe wildcard
    MOV4-4 CC20 BS12 PH11 WIP13 ARM2 BTS3 W1 S2 AVA5
Giant Killers (FD +4", SO) Breaker Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust, AP Mine, Breaker Pistol, E/M CCW
Giant Killers Breaker Combi Rifle, Blitzen, E/M Mine, Breaker Pistol, E/M CCW
Giant Killers Feuerbach, D-Charges, Breaker Pistol, E/M CCW
Giant Killers Breaker Spitfire, D-Charges, Breaker Pistol, E/M CCW
Giant Killers (Hacker - Carbonite +1 B) Breaker Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust, AP Mine, Breaker Pistol, E/M CCW
Giant Killers (Engineer, Minelayer) Breaker Combi Rifle, Blitzen, D-Charges, E/M Mine, Breaker Pistol, E/M CCW - Cleaned up the Options a bit.

Shaolin Heavy Shock Unit (White Banner), Warband
Shaolin troops that have been trained in the use of Heavy Armor.

Heavy, Elite?, IrrRegular (as every Shaolin) I would keep them cheaper and simpler

Skills: MA L3, Berserk +3, Dodge +2", Stealth, Immunity Shock, Forward Deploy +4", Frenzy, Religious
    MOV6-2 CC23 BS11 PH14 WIP14 ARM4 BTS3 W2 S2 AVA2
Shaolin Heavy Heavy Shotgun, Pistol, AP+DA CCW
Shaolin Heavy SMG, Pulzar +1B, Pistol, AP+Shock CCW

This one is something want I realy want to see in YJ - very nice draft!

    Keshik, Mongolian Motorized Unit
    Medium, Line Troop, Regular, Impetuous
Skills: Marital Arts Level 1, Berserk +3, Dodge +1, Immunity Shock, Natural Born Warrior
    MOV8-4 4-4 CC23 BS13 PH12 WIP13 ARM3 BTS3 W1 S4/2 AVA1
Mounted/Unmounted Boarding Shotgun, Assault Pistol, DA CCW
Mounted/Unmounted Chain Rifle, SMG, Assault Pistol, DA CCW
Mounted/Unmounted Marksman Rifle, Chain Colt, Heavy Pistol, EXP CCW
Mounted/Unmounted Multi-Rifle (+1B), Chain Colt, Heavy Pistol, DA CCW

Okay I try one of my own here:

    Celestial Guard NCO

    LI, Regular, Veteran

    Mov 4-4, CC20 BS12 PH11 WIP14 ARM1 BTS3 W1 S2 AVA2

NCO, Bioimmunity, Shock Imm, MA1 (Celestial Guard)

Breaker Combi Rifle, Light Riotstopper, CCW, Pistol
Breaker Combi Rifle, Light Riotstopper, Hacker KHD, CCW, Pistol
Breaker MMR, Light Riotstopper, Specialst Operative, CCW, Pistol
Breaker Combi Rifle, Light Riotstopper, LT +1 CT, CCW, Pistol

Just an Upgraded CG - like their officers.

Yeah the Breaker Combi was just a typo, so I added it.

The Giant Killers could actually be both ISS and WB. But I think WB would have more AVA. I like the mines and minelayer. I have a variety of them because, well, I want it. YJ always gets shorted on variety of profiles.

I thought of making the Shaolin Irregular but think maybe the training would take care of that. Also If I take away Regular he would I think need something more. Irregular+TacAware would be cool. Something I thought they should always be rather than Impetuous. I also have no problem with him being a HI Ninja either! :) Unlike Ninja and Hac Tao though, he can't got into a camo state after coming out of Hidden.

I like your upgraded CG. Something just a little better than a CG was something I always thought was needed. Though I now think Zhanying are pretty much that.

Yes the "hidden idea" is not bad, maybe with a second version/option. In the frist line I would keep them cheap as possible.

Thanks. I never realy understand why the CG never got a paramedic profile. Nowadys this would be very handy.

Adhesive mines - sounds cool! I would like to get a troop like this in a upcoming update/action pack for ISS. The biggest problem I see here is, that ISS should not have so much skirmishers. Only my guess design wise for that sectorial.

    What's unplayable about it?

As for the troops, I've found some old ideas for PanO troops. I think I created them shortly after N3 dropped:

    Rinjani, Hexahedron Intervention Troops

    MOV 4-4 / CC 15 / BS 12 / PH 11 / WIP 13 / ARM 2 / BTS 0 / W 1 / S 2 / AVA 1 (PanO), AVA 3 (NCA)
Holoprojector, Sixth Sense, Dodge (+3), Dodge (+1’’)
    • Rinjani - SMG, E/Mitter, Nanopulser
    • Rinjani - Breaker Carbine, Panzerfaust
    • Rinjani - Marksman Rifle
    • Rinjani hacker (KHD) - Boarding Shotgun
    • Rinjani Lt. - SMG, E/Mitter, Nanopulser

    Agadi, Gorkha regiment

    MOV 4-4 / CC 21/ BS 13 / PH 12 / WIP 13 / ARM 2 / BTS 3 / W 1 / S 2 / AVA 2 (PanO), AVA 4 (SAA)
Jungle Terrain, Dogged, MA1, Forward Deployment (+8’’)
    • Agadi - Combi Rifle, Grenades
    • Agadi - Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust, Drop Bears
    • Agadi - Combi Rifle, E/Mitter (Forward Observer)
    • Agadi - Boarding Shotgun, Grenades (Sensor)
    • Agadi - Mk12
    • Agadi - Heavy Rocket Launcher
    • Agadi - Feuerbach

The old rules made it virtually impossible to miss the AD (actually a little broken), but the actually trooper was not too strong to balance it out. With the way the it works now, you get a 'meh' level trooper with 2 skills that are fairly fluffy and don't add value (morpho-scan & seedsoldier). I don't Surprise attack can apply to the developed shape (check with rules section to be sure). Basically you get a set of complex rules for no actual value. It just becomes a mess to play in fun games.

A profile that could use some love in my eyes is the Kiel-Saan in Spiral Corps. The model is fantastic, the concept is cool, and in SC it has its own unique fireteam that Tohaa don't get.

Problem is that it's HI in a faction with no hacking protection, the unique fireteam is pretty bad, and the Kiel-Saan itself is pretty much completely overshadowed by Neema Saatar. She's as good at shooting, much more resistant to hacking, can team up with an Engineer to cover her, is much cheaper, and makes a great lieutenant. The Kiel-Saan is better at melee with DA and NBW, has one better armour, and MetaChemistry can be fun.

So I'd love for it to be able to get forwards and fight with its unique fireteam without getting instantly blitzed by even casual attempts at hacking.

With regards to the Fireteam I think it gets fixed pretty easily by swapping the Draal for a Kosuil. This gives you an Engineer which can both recover an Isolated Kiel-Saan and repair the Kaauri. The Kaauri Paramedic can heal both the other members, so you have some nice synergy within the team. It would also mean you have HI, Veteran, Visor, Paramedic, D-Charges, and an Engineer in one Fireteam which covers something like 3/4 of the Classified Deck; a massive weakness in Spiral Corps.

The Kiel-Saan, more than anything, needs some protection from hacking:

Firewall Tinbots feel a bit off thematically.

Making a profile with Specialist Operative and Veteran seemed pretty elegant; it makes the fireteam feel like a kind of covert ops team full of specialists that goes in to complete missions, and protects the Kiel-Saan from Oblivion. That said, melee-focussed HI don't tend to have Veteran (I think it's only Adil Mehmut that has Martial Arts and Veteran?), presumably because it's quite a powerful combo. Also, saying 'I'd like this troop to be immune to their main weakness' feels a little bit cheesy.

Another option is to give the Kiel-Saan Zero Pain. I think there's only four profiles in the game with Zero Pain and Spiral Corps already get two of them, so it's kind of on-brand. The -3 MOD to enemies' WIP and B2 in ARO mean you're slightly more resistant to hacking than Neema, but not so resistant that it feels over the top for the non-hacking faction. It also means the Kiel-Saan is a specialist and a Hacker, so now the Fireteam can be all specialists again and cover almost the entire Classified deck.

Too long; didn't read: Give the Spiral Corps Kiel-Saan a Zero Pain profile, and switch the special Fireteam to contain Kosuil instead of Draal.
