Infinity Defiance, the new game from Corvus Belli

Just got the email from Quartermaster Logistics asking me to confirm my address.

 

Tiles delivered yesterday by Australia Post.

 

Anyone in the US reading this who moved since they got their Defiance stuff should check their e-mail. Because the address confirmation e-mail that I got on Friday the 8th said

You have until 04/11/2022 08:00 am EST to verify your address.

If you don't respond by the deadline, then we will use the address provided to us by the publisher.

Address Didn't Change? No Action Is Required!​

Just sayin' that I totally missed the e-mail until I saw this thread updated and went back to check. My address hasn't changed so I would have been fine, but in case anyone has moved...

 

I got a Defiance Platinum pledge on the secondary market, and the seller isn't responding to my messages about the reprinted tiles.
Is there a way for me to get the reprinted tiles?

 

I did get a reply from my seller, he hasn't received anything yet.
Did people in germany already receive their replacement tiles?

 

Replacement tiles arrived last week in the UK, my parents just didn't tell me until today.

 

Mine did as well, same story.

 

They also didn't tell me that last October mum had COVID so bad she would've been hospitalised, there just weren't enough beds available in the Hospital so she was given home oxygen.

We have been having words about communicating things more.

 

Got my tiles in Sweden today. Very nice because my Revenant tiles have become warped for some reason.

 

Ja, my pal has its tiles. But I don't.

 

Same thing with Mcgreag, both the envelope and the tiles, all the material obviously suffered from rain at some point during its transport.

 

That is sad to hear, have you communicated this back?

 

I actually meant my original tiles have warped, the new ones are perfectly fine (there where a slight scuff in one corner but it was small enough to just hit the edge of the cardboard and didn't reach the tiles).

Not surprised at the price increase considering the past couple of years, still a pretty good deal if your after the minis as it works out less than €6/mini not including Big Meg and the terrain pack.

 

I hope the 'scalpers' don't buy everything in the first hour.
Some times when I went on ebay I saw people reselling each box at 200-300e, it will be cheaper than second hand... xd ^^

 

Naw, guys, the price increase is silly, even if it is with free shipping. These items were already produced at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, years ago, they weren't paid for in 2022 tin prices. A 46% price hike is just offensive, especially as we now are fully aware how flawed the execution of the game itself is.

 

Let's hope they don't forget to add correct expansion tiles as well before shipping.
