Hey Infinity players, greetings from Seoul. Last January we had a newcomer tournament, 200pts roster battles with one simple rule; grab the locker room. This will give the player +50 to their kill points. total 16 newcomers registered, 15 actually came to wreck a havoc in our local gaming store :) And yes please, I'd like to share the reports with you guys. First game starring 'Welcome to EI', played by Nom-Nom. As you guessed, he's playing Onyx since the brawl. Starring second, 'Slimy Ivory Mask', played by Ugin. A fine painter, Ugin recently joined our group, making everyone surprise to his painting skills! 'Welcome to EI' used full Unidron link accompanied by Umbra legate, and Rodoks. Derived from 300-pts pack the roster seemed extremely solid one. [/IMG] 'Slimy Ivory Mask', used Corregidor Bandit as his signature model! Fine-painted Spektr. Man I love this model!Nomad Spirit is strong in this one. 1st turn, CA takes the alpha strike. Nomad places two camo markers around the Locker room. Locker room's an excluded zone, so no infiltrators or MDs can despoil the holy Locker room. Umbra legate leads the link, into the breach we go! Yet he knew that camo's a zero, or mine. Or perhaps it's that nasty bandit waiting for prey. In fear of camo, Umbra tries to pull over his Cybermask, and fail for 2 times. Nice black sun disguise you have there.. To his surprise, Nomad remote ARO a flash pulse right into his eyes, making Umbra totally useless in 1st turn. Oh yeah, it was his surprise attack, but man it's infinity. Turn 2, Nomad declares Interventer Lieutenant order. Order : Controlled Jump! Way is clear. Hellcat spitfire lands into the spot. Tunguska-approved Combat jump! The hellcat land into the sweet spot, completely unharmed, armed and ready. Yet Nomad had another plan. Spektr comes out from a thin air, placing mine in his vicinity. Nomad places another mine from zero, and declares a shootout from Hellcat. Attack from triple mines, and a volley from well-placed spitfire was more than enough to wipe an entire link. ONE unidron, who survived the all-out attack, hopelessly shoots the minelayer zero, resulting his own death. CA surrenders, and Victory goes for Nomads! That AD did the job for sure.
The paintjob on the Nomads is just gorgeous. Having such a clean paint while the camera is so close... I'm just so impressed.
