How do negative modifiers work?

    It says...
    • A negative MOD [-] in round brackets next to a Special Skill, Weapon, or Equipment will be applied only to enemies.
    Then, if Miranda Ashcroft decides to use her CC Attack (-6) skill, which is right?
    1. Whenever she declares CC Attack, the opponent has to apply -6 MODs to any skill it rolls.
    2. Whenever the opponent declares CC Attack to Miranda, it is imposed with -6 MODs.

    Whenever you declare the skill you apply the negative MOD to the enemy if the roll is F2F

    It's not any roll. It has to be F2F to apply the MOD

    Only for Martial Arts currently, though I think they're changing to FtF only in the next FAQ.

    Yep, Ian gave us notice it's changing, but the published rules aren't updated yet.
