Conversion thread! what've you got going on?

I had a spare domaru body and was in need of a different tanko ML sculpt. It turned out like this, swords are yet to come, then paint...


Can you guess where the parts came from? it's all Japanese... almost

I didn’t like Gromoz’s sword, so I reposed her right hand to be resting on the butt of her pistol instead.

Thanks! I’m not playing Corregidor, but I do have DBS. I decided to replace the old, tiny, crouching Gromoz with the new sculpt.

 

Tomcat doctor with supply box, which he looted from the enemy Kaizoku.

 

Got this little defense turret from Thingverse and converted it to have magnetized "ammo drums". First one is custom for my Haqq, the next ones will be for my other armies.

 

I'm starting with my haqqislam troops, and noticed that didn't liked the new assawira miniature, so I converted one...

 

Looking great! Not a fan of the current asawira either... That is a Nasmat head on a PanO body? I have done a couple conversions using the old janissaire, but I am looking for a better alternative.

 

Just out of curiosity, what don’t you like? I glanced at some photos and it looks like it’s got most of the same design elements as the old one, just a little bit chunkier.

 

I'm a fan of conversions and also not a big enthusiast of new Asawira. I prefere the old ones.
But about this specific conversion I just have to say - NO.
Mixing PanO parts in Haqq is something I can't look at. Especially on such a symbol of Haqq as Asawira is. Sorry, just my opinion, but the armour, the gun, the whole thing just doesn't feel right.

No fat-shaming, but WAY chunkier. Also, HUGE. He is squatting, but if standing tall, he would be about the same height or taller than the Jannies, and the armor would look bigger.

About the parts used, change the weapon and give it the "wings", and I think it would look pretty nice.

I did mine with the old jannies, and once the wings were on, they looked pretty ok.

 

As I said I'm starting with with haqqislam so I don't have many parts to do conversions, so I used a Swiss Guard and an incomplete nasmat. I thought about the weapon, but I don't have haqqislam spare weapons... yet.
The wings could be a nice addition if they fit, I will try!

I'm not into conversion at all but I noticed that Puppet War heads are now distributed bu Green Stuff World, so I thought it was worth mentioning it here.

 

Like @BoxedSnake conversion, it's a Nasmat head (but from the other one).

 

Thanks... plus DIY (plastic/paper/brass?) antennas? Or taken from a model?

Maybe, if cut or the Nasmat hides part of the front.
