Conversion thread! what've you got going on?

Finally getting back on the conversion band wagon with something I've been meaning to do for ages...a totally redundant conversion as the mini already exists, BUT I like the newer style yu jing boarding shotguns for everything bar ISS minis...now to figure out how to greenstuff some shoulderpads!

 

@dulydude Very nice! I also like the Yu Jing shotguns, which set of arms did you use for the one on the right there please? That'd be a great conversion to do.. just a shame she's packaged with two models I'm not looking for :(

 

She's got the arms of the bshotgun Zuyong mini from the IA starter...much fun with a jeweller's saw was had

also the 2nd bshotgun Zuyong who lost her weapon for conversions :P

 

@dulydude Where did the head come form on the model on the right?

 

Looks like the head of the guijia pilot to me. But i could be mistaken.

 

Wanted to do this conversion since the spitfire Noctifier was released. now i have three noctifiers, the both depicted and the stock ML Noc.
So i stripped down the Long ya from all these strange plates and minifaces. In my opinion they are a lot better this way, somewhat i am still not satisfied maybe i try to give them replicated yaokong faces. I am still unsure.

I originally bought Sun Tze because i wanted his arms for a conversion, as i recently got my hands on an additional multi Zuyong i decided to actually build Sun Tze. He looks like he is commanding and leading his troops now even if his right arm looks a bit thick somehow. He has been lifting the weight of duty or something like that.
That left me with an armless Zuyong so i used a Wu Ming BSG, Domaru arms and some 3d printed parts to build me an additional BSG Zuyong with a Dao. Some fast and Easy Fun conversions.

 

@Fed4ykin is correct! Since the tiger soldier has a hacker's visor the whole head had to go, so I used the pilot's head as I had already taken her pistol for a zhanshi conversion (wanted to make my FO stand out a bit).

 

Thank you for confirming that. I could not tell it was the Guijia pilot's head.

 

Painted up my conversion for the MABH and did a couple weapon swaps on the fat yuan and on Domodoi :)

Really happy that CB saw that Namurrs are a bit underwhelming in comparison with other Haqq/Ramah units and gave them some buffs. Finally there's chance I'll take her to battle - so I gave her proper gun ;) Thanks to Monstrous Makings and Wilcza Gawra print.

I'll get in on the Jackbot fun! I snapped the guns while playing around so I repinned them in different positions to make them more dynamic, then messed around with their bases to really give them a unique feel.





And then I was also messing around with the MBH since I had an extra.

 

So, this is a conversion... more of a kitbash, actually, but I guess it still counts. I Think I had posted the WIP here, but I just put on the last decals last night (if anyone asks, it is all freehand ).

@P4ela154 Very nice conversion idea. Looks like a much better improvement over the current model of Dr Worm.

 

Love this. The Vostok head really doesn't do it for me.
