It's been a while since my last post. Meanwhile I wait for Crimson Stone to arrive I did some color scheme tests for Kosmoflot.
Moved away from green and tried some muted blues and greys. Went a bit wild with Cadin "the BlondStrike", I kinda like him.

@Modock I like him too. You did a fine job on this neat conversion. It might be a simple arm swap but it does wonders for the model. Plus the paint job & base is amazing to boot. A+/S+ my friend.

Thanks Golem2God. It's not a conversion it's a Defiance alternative sculpt. I wish I was this skilled at conversions.

Holy cow. It's amazing (as always)! The only part that looks weird to me are the elbows. Something just looks... wrong there.

    Cheers, mate!
The muscle under the elbows are pronouncedly sculpted and I highlighted them even more, I guess that's why are peculiar.

Ah, I see. Still a great finished model in my eyes.
As for conversions you get better the more of them you try out. Trail & error will help you grow. That is how I got better at creating unique minis.

Like the modelling of the coat where the hole from the Combi Rifle was

Used the combi rifle for a conversion so I had to make some minor modification on this one. Also I cut the jammer fat cable off, I Like it better this way.

After a small break I'm back on track.

I did the Defiance crew for a friend and DogFace for my collection.

That's why I complain about the lack of "awesomeness report" button.

Took me a while to set on the color scheme for the Kosmoflot.

Like always, amazing job, but this time also impressive color scheme. Pulling of that combination of mustard yellow, dark teal and orange isn't an easy feat. Congrats, they look great! Excited for the rest of your Crimson Stone box.

    Thanks!
Yeah, I wanted something different for them and I think it works quite well.
