Thrown Mode weapons are considered BS Weapons. That is a good finding.

As so far, we had nothing in the rules saying what exactly is considered a BS Weapon (thus the thread Title). There is suggestion of using context clues that since BS Weapon redirects to Ranged Weapon Profile, that any weapon with a ranged weapon profile is a BS Weapon. But we knew DTW are BS Weapons even though they lack Range Bands*. So I suggested earlier that it be extended to any weapon used in the context of the BS Attack rules chapter is a BS Weapon.

What you bring is that there is already a rules precedent that some weapons with two usage modes can (unlike the MULTI Rifle example) be a BS Weapon in one mode (incidentally the mode that can make use of the Ballistic Skills chapter rules) while the other mode is not called out as being a BS Weapon (and that mode is obviously a CC Weapon).

    * important to note everything in the Ranged Weapon Profile hints that having a range band is a critical characteristic of that page. Range Band paragraph does not say, if it exist it does so and so. It is written with the implication that it always exist. And all examples used have Range Bands data.
