Let's talk about the new profile we are getting.

Cheap HI to guard DZ? Super-jaguar to stay close to our Lts? Or a disposable attack vector to launch forward under smoke?

I was thinking more about keeping one to do Guard duty, but at 6-2 move, a Dam14 SMG and our Smoke support it can totally launch forward to deal with one or two key midfield roadbumps.

Much like the Diggers they're possibly replacing you've got to be careful pushing them into midfield. WIP12 and BTS0 could see them quickly Oblivioned and Carbonited!

Dunno tbh, if they can link they'll be useful as attack pieces and door kickers. If they can't they're going to be dependent on other pieces to punch then a hole to advance up the board.
A lot of the new stuff seems really shirt range with no delivery system or linking noted on the profiles. Not sure what to make of that.

    Already love them!
    A CC23 / Dmg15 / NBW / Trench-Hammer / 2W Berserk? Yes, please! :)
Impetuous allows them to quickly be where they need to be (with smoke, if needed) and at 15 points, they are probably expendable enough...

If they could be linked with Jaguars it would be a wet dream, but I guess we need to wait and see.

Didnt thought about them getting the shaft because of hacking... very true! Will require cautious choosing of a target that is not under a repeater.

What I am thinking as a CJC player is about the times where I needed a disposable unit to through at some Alpha piece that managed to pierce through the midfield, and not wanting to use Jaguars because I need them for the link. Sometimes you have McM or Massacre, but when they are not around it is tough to tie somebody in melee (Bandits are typically up table doing work, and again, Jaguars need to be removed from a link). This guy/gal looks like a perfect budget option for that.

Between the Diablos, the Gator and the Lobo's I'm having a tough time following CB's thought process behind pampering CJC even further after all the goodies they got with N4. Corgy is starting to feel like the sectorial equivalent of a Mary Sue character. Actually strike that - they have a literal Mary Sue character in Jazz. At least there is hoping they did some internal balancing when they brought all the sectorials up to speed with the new fireteam rules.

Nice addition to an Alg, Jag or those teams.

CJC got hit hard with some changes thou, for those complaining... no more Wildcard Brigada getting bonuses from Alguaciles or Jaguars, Vostok and Lunokohd same thing... the flexibility and sheer amount of bonuses on mixed links is mostly gone. Which is a rebalancing itself and will present nice challenges to list composition.

Also, no more extreme Pitcher plays, for example, that everybody complained about.

Jazz FTO joining any fireteam strips composition bonuses, with the updated cost its a considerable nerf.

Exactly. Most of the "amazing wildcards" now means the fireteam looses bonuses.

Though how much those bonuses mean on the cheaper pure fireteams is up to you. And the expensive pure fireteams are expensive as hell for +2BS. I think mixed + Vostok is still the best gunfighting option, and once you put one thing in you may as well go all in anyway.

Indeed. What I mean is that the changes retained flexibility but toned down the lethality of mixed fireteams... and CJC suffered it because a lot of the plays people cried about were centered about those flexible links (and cheap Jazz, which we also lost).

I like the changes. They will be good in general. And I feel less guilty about having this amazing new TAG and new shiny CC toys. Just wished the Lobos and Diablos could do a pure link with Jaguars... but we don't loose much there.

It's alright. Nothing to really write home about. TAGs are already meh, not sure I want to pay a TAG tax to put a Haris together.

If you do not care about +3 discover you can add one or two wildcards for example a Wildcat engineer and a Tsyklon or a digger.

Though I am quite thrilled to have 3 of them.

I suppose. I wouldn't normally run a single TAG, let alone 3 of the same mediocre one. I think there are a lot of better Haris options, or you could get a full core link of MB for that price.

To expand on that though. I could get a Gecko Haris, or I can just get a Gator that has better offensive, defensive, and costs less.
