Odds say it is going to be a Mul or Kuryer.
We do need replacements for those, though I'm really not that excited for them.

Looking at the picture, the bottom part looks like it has legs and not tracks. Which could be something to make the kuryer more unique, a really large general design overhaul for muls in general. Or it's actually a missile themed TAG.

I don't want to see walking remotes for Ariadna. But looking at that design would that ever be a cool looking TAG. And though a pipe dream. A missile themed Ariadna TAG would be pretty cool and that would help set it apart from other TAGs. It would be so cool to the Uragan on another more agressive platform.

But I'm fully expecting it to be just a lame and mundane mul redesign.

Looks like a TAG guys. Your faction has been too long without one. With Kosmoflot you dirt farmers are finally getting some tech upgrades so you can get into space!

TAG raid was your first teaser:

The new pic shares some pretty similar design aesthetics:

Looks like a TAG be coming to the Flot to me!

    Dream big!

I am. May start a dirt farmer collection myself if they can join the big boys of all the other factions… ;-)

It's hard to say it will be a TAG, really hope so. Yes, it shares plenty of details with the Cavecrawler, which is great the model is brilliant.
Those are definitely legs cause the details are very similar, even the bolt between the plates is there.[IMG]

Well I stand corrected, apparently as well as already being the best sectoral kosmo get a shiny tag and a swathe of new units. Not sure how useful the infantry releases will be as they're all armed with short range guns and no delivery mechanism (parachutist/infiltration) listed though.

The Patchers seem like their ARM value is too low. Like a 4-5 would be what I would expect for it's full power state, and a 3 in powered down. These guys look like the successor to the Blackjack or Ratnik. Way more than the KosmoSoldat. Did they mix them up? Fire theme is interesting, love the incendiary grenades.

The TAG is a solid gun platform. Not much else. The rocket launcher is a bit dissapointing, but still I think the only BS14 TAG with a B3 one? Would have loved to see a grenade or uragan option, a +2B Panzerfaust and Flammenspeer could have been a really fun option for a missile theme TAG. Though I still think I'll be taking this guy quite a bit. I really hope they are going to give all the ariadna factions access to it and not just Kosmo.

The armour looks like a militarised and vacuum sealed version of the TAG Raid prospector that may be a not so advanced armor compared to the Armata ones.

More like an armored utility suit used for EVA actions than a state of the art military grade armour (Ariadna level).

Ariadna are taking the reasonable stance of choosing to manufacture locally, yes, they could, theoretically, purchase out of state more advanced equipment (an they do in some instances like the medikits) but that makes them dependant on outside manufacture for units, replacement parts ectr.

Kosmoflot and more importantly their first out of planet outposts made them start constructing more advanced equipment, many of them are repurposed or redesigned civilian equipment, again because it is tried and tested technology they know they can manufacture.

The patcher is S2 how is it possible? It won't fit in the base unless it's way smaller than a ratnik, but it will look strange since they have the very same chassis.

I'd say that armor is significantly more advanced as it is basically a massively miniaturized version of the Blackjack armor.

To me the Patcher suit looks vastly more protective, and it visually looks like a successor to the Ratnik.

I have not idea how the Kosmosoldat has ARM 6. He looks significantly less protected than even the Vet Kazak who does have full body armor. I think they've just been really off in there visuals to stats in Kosmoflot.

Dissapointingly, the new TAG is only given to Kosmo. While Scots, TAK, and USARF don't even get a Triphammer. :(

Also took a look through some of the other changes. The Minutemen, changed again. And still suck. A marginal CC improvement was really unnecessary. Not hard to add NWI. Or go all in and toss them MA1-2 and actually make CC an option for them. They can freely mix with Marauders now which is interesting. But still are so outperformed by them.

Patchers are Civilian EVA suits pressed into combat.

Armata-4 Project Kosmosoldat is the pinnacle of Ariadnan armour design as is the successor to the Armata-2 Project Ratnik program (skipping the presumably disastrous Armata-3 Project)

Kosmosoldats also got a nice boost with the new rules, being able to form a Haris with Fronties and Wildcards, including the new Strannik which is a relatively cheap option.

I think some of the initial designs for Kosmoflot are quite a miss. The rokots, Zenit-7 and to an extend the Kosmosoldat. The soldat have the same armor as gecko but he's in a suit with
a few plates on top. Also he's quite small as a miniature too.

That being said the new designs fit perfectly into Kosmoflot. The strannik, patchers and Chernobog all look great, can't wait to see the renders.

The fireteam options are quite flexible, you can make mix rokot team with volkolak and patchers and get full bonuses.

It all depends on how much Tasseum and how much refinement that Tasseum has in your armour plates, Kosmosoldat is an elite of the elite with the best armour available Patchers are emergency spaceship structural response team that also does combat duty

I see a resemblance in the Helghast Suits of Guerrilla Studios "Killzone" Videogame. . .

Some of the Elites of the Helghast wear Rigid Platings (a couple even Cybernetically Integrated); but Helgan started as some sort of "Rare Ore Mining Penal Colony" that then evolved into a Militarized Fascist Tyranny (never understood if was ONLY harsh quality of life, or there were "Mutation Vectors" in Helgan Atmosphere; Guerrilla started to say that "Helghasts were Stronger than Baseline Humans, but prone to Irrational Violence"; in the first Videogames it was said that was the explanation for Helghast "Shining Eyes" but later it was said it was Cybernetics and Paramilitary Gene-Modding). . .

Anyway, when Planet Helgan is assaulted by the "Good Guy Protagonists" then You face also "Local Militia Defenders" that seems Vacuum Suited Miners with Heavy Machineguns, very resistant but slow and encumbered by their Hazmat Suits (as the Mines were Volcanic and also the Ore excavated had dangerous "Hyper-Energetic" properties). . . . .

It is good stuff if CB take some further ideas from the very interesting Stuff of that Videogame Serie. . . . .
