Better picture of the Morat robot and I think Taryot was bad guess, because it looks like something bigger. In the picture we can see Tyrok or other hunter regiment. New MAF TAG? Or something completely different?
There are Shasvastii Secessionists in the Betrayal graphic novel, and Dukash's fluff mentions him working for the pro-independance faction within the Shasvastii. I don't believe Hasht is involved, just pointing out that Shasvastii working against the EI has more precedence than the Morats doing the same.
The snippet for the Dire Foes doesn't really make it look like a seceding thing though. The Shas want to give the prize to the EI, and are worried the Morat will figure it out and give it to the EI first. They're just murdering each other to for daddy's approval really.
I'm taking another look at the Kaitok Shock Regiment vs. the new Knight of the Holy Sepulcher The big difference I'm noting is that the KotHS's human arms are like a TAG pilot's in that they're not holding anything - they're being mirrored by the big arms, which actually wield the weapons. The Kaitok, however, has weapons in the operator's arms, in addition to the weapons mounted on the suit. In fact, they aren't really arms at all, and remind me more of the weapon mounts on the Yan Huo, although those still have the operator holding control units in their regular hands.
Oops! Hadn't realised that I'd left that text in there. Which was written prior to the release of the actual box contents
CB relesed another trailer. We can see Dartok Cybercombat team in it with their logo. Logo of this unit is Kurgat logo with some changes and with same color inversion as Taryot logo. I would like to know if this means there is connection between Kurgats and Dartoks.
New trailer has a slight view of the rear of the Rasyat - it looks like part of the reason for the very built up shoulder armor is that the combat jump hardware is mounted very high up. I'd really love to get a proper back view of the model, however.
You can see new Morat stuff here: https://store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/starters/morat-aggression-forces-action-pack You can see all new stuff in high quality and I must say I like them more and more. I hope we will see more concept arts via Adepticon seminar.
I do like the new models, but i'm not sure if I like them more than the current designs. The Kyosot is all kinds of cool though.
Do not rush to conclusions. As of now, you have only seen the Action Pack figures. Wait till you see the updated sectorial's listing in the Army.
I'm a bit in two minds about this redesign. I love the look of the Morats from 2014 and a bunch of the minis shown fit those still (Dartok, Zerat, Rasyat) but others are just too much of a departure from the (now) old designs. I would have preferred more of an evolution of the 2014 design than such a departure. I'm still wondering if it maybe is the different paint scheme and hope to see some renders. But I might just get the old Morats I don't have before they go away instead.
this boxes usually includes only 1 heavy weapon... Probably the big guy. And maybe the rasyat with spitfire? This doesnt mean that the full army wont have long range weapons
Judging by the color scheme and naming convention, my bet is on a new Nomad TAG, probably available to Corregidor. Another of the Reptile-series. Though, honestly, they don't really need more, between Geckos and Iguanas (if you ask me, Iguana needs a rules rewrite quite badly - it is, for practicla reasons, a STR 1 & NWI TAG...). Hmm, the text visible next to it seems to support that.
step 1: paint it white step 2: find and replace corregidor with bakunin step 3: rename to Lizard. Though I suppose if that art from the other trailer is a Kosmo TAG then them giving CJC a new one (while unneeded) isn't surprising.
