So far yes. Right now the Ariadna & Haqqislam books have been added with Nomads, PanO & Yu Jing next on the list. After that we will get the aliens and some other books like Submondo & Corporations.
I tried to create some characters just for fun in last days and I spotted there are some minor glitches in the creator - like, say, I created a Yu Jing character and the only language she knew was Italian, also her Brawn has mysteriously shrinked to 5 for no known reason... But aside from these quite minor issues (yes, everything really important works well), it¨s a great tool and really fun to use.
I've had similar instances were a character wouldn't know the language of the planet or faction their were born in. It has been like that for as long as I can remember. My suggestion would be to complete the character in the manner you choose then edit the sheet until he/she is correctly set in your eyes.
The Nomad book is supposed to be released soon after PanO. I wonder how long it will take for the RPG Character Generator to update for the Nomad options? Also does anyone know when Yu Jing and Aleph are coming out? While we are at it, when does the Tohaa and Combined Army's books and generator updates get released to the public?
I have the Nomad book. And the Aleph Book books in PDF...As well as I just got the Preview of the Yu Jing book.
As I understand it there's just the one person working on the online support for all of the Modiphius apps, so things can take a little bit of time to get done. Each book also has to make it from draft to final copy before it gets processed before they add that material (from what I understand) as well, so we should see the ALEPH stuff added soon and then the Nomad material not long afterwards (those were the order they were released in, right?).
@AdmiralJCJF I believe that the Nomads come out before Aleph does. Especially Yu Jing as they are a major nation and Aleph isn't.
Fair enough, I couldn't remember which order I got those books in. Either way, whichever was first should be added to the builder soon and the other in a couple of months.
I have been pretty unimpressed with what I have seen of the system so far but playing with this has peaked my interest. I think I am going to have to buy this book now.
That is interesting. I hope this means that we will get both Nomad and Aleph updates for the character generator. It should be that far off. Perhaps during this month of July?
YJ book got delayed pretty severely due to Uprising-inflicted rewrites. Not even Modiphius knew that the Uprising was coming.
That's quite shocking. You'd think CB would communicate better with Modiphius concerning something that would greatly effect one of their products. I guess this means that Yu Jing will be the last major human nation to have their book released. It makes me wonder if Combined Army will get released before them or what the state of the Tohaa book is currently in? The rest of the books (Corporations & the like) should come out after the main factions but could Yu Jing's delay mean we would see them coming out sooner than expected?
