The render is quite badass but I'm not a fan of the huge sword (especially as it's of the base and pretty close to it so it could be annoying when base to base). I do prefer the concept design. On an unrelated topic (except that's some kind of news), the French rulebook is available in store since early December and the pdf is available since a big week.
If only we could all do the same thing, sadly no defiance here or I'd have a model for Kitsune, Lei Gong and Rouhani too with Kusanagi as a Lupe proxy. @Mahtamori I keep seeing the one on the left as a Brain Bug and was half expecting to see that... Have you got what it takes? :D Can anybody tell me why she has a giant star on her belt please?
There already is one, where she's leaping over a little rock firing her Spitfire (Lupe needs a combi or ccw). Or did you mean Lupe or Kitsune? To be fair, I'm hoping the painted version of the Yuan will be good (dubious on her head now), as I might pick up a second for generic proxy'ing :)
Must have! Damn, I hope she’s as cool as the old one where she’s running and drawing her sword. An update of that would be great.
Yes, she got a spitfire general release model recently, and a profile agnostic model in Defiance. Meaning this will likely be the Multi Rifle profile.
So... Is it complete random? Bloody lootboxes? Can't imagine the frustration of hoping to get some Krakot and getting a Scarface...
It's almost as if they didn't want us to buy those anymore. I predict there not being an ITS 14 / 15 pack at all at this rate.
The biggest problem here is: A lot of people (incl. me) already have some ITS special models, so I simply can (will) not buy the box, because I have the chance to get an lim. ed. TAG (here Jotum) that I already have. So far I bought only one ITS box (unfortunatly missed the ITS 12 - the regular Parvati looks kinda akward) and planed to get the Special 13 for Fiddler and X? So I wait for regular Fiddler. As far as I know the box has random 2 ITS S2 minis or 1 ITS TAG, the usual ITS stuff (Dice, Patch) and the comic book.
Oh, yeah. I'm surprised they also have an Outrage copy in every box. Was it THAT unpopular? Too bad I could only find it in wargame stores, not actual book stores.
Well, i personally would like CB to specify list of possible minis, at least. For example, a lot of ppl would expect to find Eduardo, limited Tikbalang, but i believe it won't be included. While transparency may hurt some sales, lack of it will hurt them even more, i believe.
They'd do way better to simply add a selection of the limited minis they've got left, with a "while supplies last" stipulation. You can't get a Jotum cause we're out of those already but you can choose a Wild Bill or whoever else is on the list.
Agreed. When it comes to Infinity related products it is evident that one of the biggest draws are the miniatures (we've seen it in the Kickstarter campaigns). This product is theorically aimed at tournament organizers, but there is a lot of people that just buy it for the Seasonal models and the extras (dices, tokens, patches...). And while this is not a product intended for newbies, CB cannot expect everybody to know beforehand each and every ITS exclusive model and therefore what to expect.
I don't understand the complaints. It's a tournament prize box. If the TO would rather offer Fiddler over a random prize, can't they buy the Fiddler box instead? And if nobody buys the random box, CB has lost nothing since it's just old minis they already had kicking around anyway? I mean, if a TO asks me I'll tell them I'd rather win a Fiddler than a random prize. But it's not like I'm gonna opt out of a tournament because the prize isn't good enough. And for people who buy prize boxes directly because they want the mini, just... don't buy this one? If you don't want to?
I don't think it's just "theoretically aimed at" TOs, I think it's literally a product for TOs. Don't get me wrong, there's been a bunch of tournament minis that I've wanted, but these packs have been far too hostile to me as a collector to get and this is no exception. As a tournament organiser it makes a lot more sense, as you typically don't know who'll win (it's gonna be jarmomeniven, who am I kidding) you don't really want to aim at specific minis anyway unless your meta is small enough that specific miniature will appeal to a majority of players in the tournament. I can see it being a "friendly" product for TOs simply by removing the choice (and thus worries of bias), even.
