Check the size, the Forum will give an error for any image over 2MB. I usually send photos between my WhatsApp accounts as it's the fastest way to compress them.
I haven't had Apple mobiles for years now, did you try a swipe up/down? Tap and hold? Some file manager app?
Tried all the above. I don’t use file manager apps. All I have ever done is snap the photo on my phone and upload to the forum. Never had an issue before, hence the confusion. Mind you, if I knew the size, my next question would be how do I resize it lol.
Did you try to attach it to an email? Or maybe open directly it in a picture editor, you should find it there

The other thing you can do is upload to an image sharing site like Imgur and use the insert picture button (next to the emoticon button) to link to it.
