So, Shujae or Nadhir? I made these proxies, one with SMG and one with rifle. I am waiting on some backpacks that include a rocket launcher to count as panzerfaust/flammenspeer . Sorry for the crappy picture... I am cleaning the primer on them and when I reassemble I´ll get better ones.
My ITS13 F-13 defensive turret guns. Converted from some Mantic auto sentry guns and some panO combi-rifle front ends off some old conversions. Starmada Lawkeeper and Sidebot (this army was started during lockdown, using excess models across all the factions that I had. Many stores were closed, and of those that were open, none had the particular models I was after, so I went down the proxy route.). Was riginally an Aleph Penthesilea model from my vanilla army that I abandoned plans for. The sidebot is NOT a converted auxbot. Way too much metal to hack away. It is the "torso" part of an old PanO dronbot that I acquired somewhere - I only had 3 PanO bots, 2x dronbots and a peacekeeper and I still have all 3, so - to which I added half of a 1/72 scale Saladin armoured car wheel, and some plasticard rod (1mm and 3mm). Just realised, I forgot to glue on the "now they have a purpose" old cutter ankle fins as stabilisers to the sidebot.
Why does he need extra armour on his back? Apart from "Incoming fire has right-of-way, but incoming friendly fire trumps it."
I had a surplus MBH in one of my drawers so I built her as the dismounted MBH, furthermore I gave the mounted MBH a new Rifle wich counts as Red Fury. Also, since I hate his anger fist my 2nd Taskmaster got some barbed wire (which he just ripped apart):
Since the Motorized Bounty Hunter is available in CA I decided to use an appropiate mini (Speculo Killer+MBH's bike).
Looks great. i can imagine some skid marks or smoke from the sliding rear tire would make it really awesome when painted
So, I have long waited for another Hortlak, preferably one that'd do as a Chain of Command representation. Until I got this idea: (the painted standard Hortlak is these mainly for comparison). Spoiler: More pictures Changes: The sword hand comes from a 2nd gen. Janissary Rifleman. The stairs were made off some MDF cutouts, leftover from a terain kit. The only other change was cutting both tactical rocks from under the feet. ...and honestly, I think the model looks way, way better than the original now. Instead of an awkward pose, peculiary balanced on two pices of rock (which, well, didn't go well with the mosaic base to be honest...), he's now making a step onto the stairs. Rather than aim his Blitzen in an awkward fashion (off-hand, away from his direction of movement), he's now looking over his sword raised to encourage his brothers of arms. You could almost hear him cry "With me, o Defenders of the Faithful! With me, Janissaries!"
Looks really good. I know now what I will do with my Hortlak, who I have stolen the Blitzen/Flashpulse.
Long time away from the painting gig because I ran out of minis. The solution was to hack and sculpt until I had more. Now I have my own Jazz and Kerr Nau
Got lucky enough to get Cadin, so I gave him a prosthetic arm and now I'm Calling him Wolff(he still needs some puttywork tho).
I was never crazy about the Saito model (new or old), so I made my own... Nakadai body with a JSA head a friend had left from his army.
