Maybe maybe not. As others have noted, these aren't exactly high priority to put the Symbiomons on. Then again, Symbiomons are part of the Annex and can, at least theoretically, change drastically without requiring a large update.

Okay, that's interesting. I might even get myself some old 1ed TAG to fill that bill...

Much like their smaller brothers they've got a significant vulnerability to hacking, BTS3, WIP12, no ECM!

Good luck fitting one on a 25mm base.

I remember some nice proxies people used when the Gecko profile came out, they'd fit nicely if I remembered what they were.

Any reason why should I try to fit a S7 TAG the Triphammer is - on a 25mm base, as you suggest, my feathery friend?

Feels like a perfect kind of TAG for my pirates, er I mean Ikari. It's also nice to have something other than a Maggy for Dashat.

I don't think they said it was in Dashat, just Druze, Ikari, and StarCo.

What I do like is that the Kickstarter is only likely to add at most a half dozen profiles, using generic mercs to represent prospectors/mining TAGs refitted for combat was a good call IMO.

Because I thought we were still talking about the prospector HI and didn't notice that a TAG profile came out in the meantime.

A nice(r) profile to use your Anacondas as, and a reasonable alternative to Scarface.

And since it's initial booty roll isn't beholden to HellLois' altered TAG Booty tables from the ITS it can actually roll ARM+4 to get up to 11

Just stay away from viral weapons. And breaker weapons. And nanopulsers. And hackers.

What I think about troops like this is that they shouldnt have CC21 but more 18, and NBW, a CC Attack -3 and that +1 B AP CCW. The reason why is because higher CC means skill, they're miners. What they should be is their Mining suit amd their weapon is so big and bulky that fighting them in CC is difficult for even for someone skilled, not that they are skilled themselves. And then when they do attack, because their weapon and suit are what they are they get that higher chance of wounding.

Just my opinion with reasoning, so dont @ me because this gives what ever faction some sort of incremental leg up and I'm bashing it. On paper it's fine to me, I know it paid its points. It just doesnt make sense. Especially yet another troop has NBW and they arent Musashi...

Yeah, avoiding adding more named characters is good. It seems like there's too many of them already.

I agree with you. If anything, have the CC should come down with the battle ravaged state. Oh well, it is what it is at this point.

These rare moments when all the hateful mother fuckers on here agree, and CB at there computer be like: "fuck, did we fuck this up" :joy::joy:

I would like for one day some people petition CB with like 100-200 signatures for grievances. And honestly, I think after ten years the player base has figured out not only what they would like to see specifically, but systems or rules to follow that CB can use so that they can revise units quickly and adequately without the fans even putting in specific suggestions and still hitting the mark and it's really just revolving around what should be optimized and lean (wild bill cheap shooter, myrmidon or galwegians cheap warband, inerventors hacking) , optimized and expensive (swiss expensive shooter, Kitsune expensive CC specialist), just buff (Achilles, DeFerson, Joan, Ajax, Oyoroi, durable with multiple uses (yes tags are roadblocks but the Oyoroi offers a board control and CC while still being active shooter I just wish it was S6). Ajax is the cheapest in that example but hes optimized to be a hell of a roadblock and CQB problem solver. I'm also aware that's not a perfect system but I think people understand the point and all of us could fine tune it.

Or, if they lose their suit in the Battle Ravaged state, and lose the bulky drill, they could theoretically bring their CC up but forfeit their AP CCW (+1B) for a regular CCW without the burst bonus. Because they don't have to move around their huge exo-suit and become more maneuverable.
