So, I was almost done with Bill, and a friend of mine called attention to the legs, that they seemed a bit short... Now my eyes could only see that. I give you Dinamic Bill v2
@Doppelgganger , that two-missile look actually works, and actually makes me want to field her! Nice work.
While these guys are all converted (heads, weapons, backpacks, etc...), they are far from ITS legal... but I wanted to do Brawlers that would fit with my Haqq. And they look pretty nice on the table, perfectly scaled :) The two guys with rifles have been done for months now. The SWC guys (Medic/Engineer, HRL and Sniper) just got done yesterday.
Sometimes the finished product makes ITS compliant unimportant. I think this is one such example of that. Nice colorful character for your force. What were the parts you used in these conversions? Such as the heads, etc...?
CB themselves basically said they don't care when they officially allowed proxies. Just glue some CB metal under the base and they'll be technically legal :^)
The heads (separate) and bodies are an old line of Light Troops (OOP now, I think) from Puppets War... God know I have pestered them to re-release these . I still have a few old heads from before they scaled up (damn primaris!) and I used them in a lot of infinity conversions. I am planning on doing another Asawira soon. The weapons and backpacks are a mixed bag. The HRL is from an old Muyib, the AK rifles from Warlord (or Wargames Factory?). The backpacks came from Hasslefree, WF, an old I-Kore one and even a Tamiya one, I think
I remember last time I checked, a couple of months back, that the ruling was the model needed to be at least 50% or so percent Infinity parts. But if what you say is that case then I'm more than happy to hear it. Nice mix of bits you cobbled together. I too have some very old PuppetsWar heads from before they upgraded their sizes. They are Native American heads for my USAriadna force. I'm still waiting for those to be re-released. The current sizes of PuppetsWar heads mostly work for Infinity HI due to their size. Unless you make your whole army have PuppetsWar heads then they will look out of place outside of HI bodies.
- bring some totally random CB minis (bonus points for shitty paintjobs) - bring unofficial but very appropriate and nicely painted conversions - say "your choice", maintaining eye contact to establish dominance
As in blutac some bodies or parts of TAGs to the base. If anybody complains, say they do not understand the artistry of tactical rocks. And the metal look is because they are fallen shiny statues, of course.
Since we are talking about non-CB minis... I am also doing a dropship I am torn between posting it here or on the terrain page. Bear in mind this is still very much a WIP
I am sure someone must have done this conversion, but I added a box under my MABH foot and played around with a bunch of magnets. Now she can be used either way AND my opponents should probably avoid using electronics near the gaming area... The only thing I am not so secure about is that the stability of the whole thing rests on the pin between the foot and the box. used GS and superglue, and a strong pin, but only time will tell how strong that joint is
This might be good to try out. I didn't do conversions like you did but I put my "driver" also off the bike but also on his own base. I then also magnetized it underneath so it doesn't fall off.
Converting a male ryuken 9 The sword arm is from an old oniwaban, the other arm is his own, I just removed the rocket launcher and gave him a smg made from a haqq rifle.
