Even with smoke the game and unit evaluation revolves around whats the best HMG you have access to especially if can be linked.
I actually would prefer rifles to have Spitfire range, so it is more realistic, the extra damage and burst is enough to differentiate spitfire and its like from rifles but rifles should feel just a tiny bit more realistic this would also mitigate the hmg just a tiny bit. I think prone should award some sort of bonus to shooting like +1 BS, full burst in Suppression Fire... etc etc.
I'm well aware, but they remain the most common SWC weapon by a decent shake. Anyhoo, I've put my thoughts on the subject elsewhere so let's not go off topic too much :P
Agent Dukash doesn't have Shasvastii special skill. I totally missed it and without @paraelix and his question if it is mistake I would probably ignore this fact. Hellois said that it isn't mistake and Dukash really don't have Shasvastii skill, which is surprising to me. Question is why he doesn't have it? His fluff will give us explanation. Some of mine theories: Dukash is Shasvastii, but somehow he lost his spawn embryo. Dukash isn't Shasvastii, but other alien species that is working with Shasvastii. Dukash is human agent working for the Shasvastii. So what you think about Agent Dukash missing Shasvastii skill. Any other idea?
Maybe an old comrade of Casanova, brain-wombled by a Sepsitor and now his greatest nemesis! Would certainly make for a compelling Dire Foes box.
Is anyone still playing CodeOne with Combined Army? I’ve really only just started with a plan I had last year to re-learn the game from the ground up starting with CodeOne. What’s working well (or not-so-well) in your games?
Honestly, it will teach you to play Shas as opposed to CA as a whole. It's decent at teaching Shaz' but CA it does not, haha. I've been having fun playing them, but to me, they have some odd points for things. Maybe i's the troop choices but I personally find it hard to build list with sometimes.
