Rahman Rohuani proxy... what mini?

The female Ghulam Doctor form the support pack should do well as a proxy imo, or any other Ghulam for that matter. If you are a stickler for WYSIWYG, the monstrucker is reasonably cheap as a bits source, with both an SMG and a Chain rifle arm you can easily graft onto other models.

You might also want to check eBay for Raman himself – I've seen some people selling off single miniatures from Defiance here and there.

 

Yeah, coats are nasty to sculpt onto an existing model. I'd probably take the Zhayedan Breaker Rifle as a base model. It has the coat and the Haqqislam style, the pistol can easily be made into a medkit and the left arm should be an easy weapon swap, too.

The head will probably need some additional cutting if you want to swap it, but nothing too crazy.

 

You can use the ghulam doctor from haqqislam Paint set from Vallejo.

 

My first thought was the same as @Knauf 's - Zhayedan Breaker Rifle.
One of the biggest things that makes Rahman stand out among other Haqq units and especially doctors is the coat, and he has a coat very similar to the one on Zhayedans. Second option is one of Khawarijs. In both situation there will be some cutting and scultping, but there's no other way ;)

About Rahman's mini - I really really love it, great miniature. At first I thought that I'll buy only him from a friend getting Defiance, but after all I took part in the Kickstarter, still mostly for Rahman (selling Shas and some other units make it rather cheap to be honest).
And I'm thinking of slightly converting Rouhani - ideally giving him a silenced pistol instead od Medikit, but we'll see ;)

The John Hawkwood mini would be a good proxy. Just a quick weapon swap is all that is needed. The coat is a bit short, bit... meh. It's readily fixable, inasmuch as anything on a metal mini is.

 

I did mine with a Govad body, Puppets War head and some borrowed weapons

 

I also play Nomads, so I'm thinking the Midnight Sun Analyst is pretty close

 

I modified a Cube Jaeger, by cutting off the sword and using green stuff to make a medkit.

 

I was going with Zhayedan Breaker, but last minute changed for the paint set ghulam doc. short hair, facial hair, two-hands on the medikit, backpack and sling bag. It is almost perfect, only missing the coat. Zhayedan was nice with a coat, but had a helmet and big riffle.

 

I guess it will be released as Jazz and Cadin have been, but not at least for a year ....
