Who else has every single card from the blisters they have bought? I'm trying to do a big clean of the place and can decide on finally throwing them out!
I think they make for great paint ideas - at least they show you the design of the model for you to pick out parts to paint. I don't have nearly as many, but I guess when you come from a game like Confrontation where the cards are required to play, you kinda keep these things. My problem is having way too many models that I've not built or painted and still wanting more :P
I still have all mine! Boxes and blister packs get recycled, apart from a couple of Operation boxes that get used for accessory storage, but I can't bring myself to throw away the cards!
Yeah something about the cards makes me keep them. I haven't looked at some in years! But it's sort of like trying to throw away artwork my kids made in the 1st grade.
Looks like we're all suffering from the same symptom ^^ Luckily for me I mainly bought boxes and only a few blisters.
Man, I wish I had that kind of storage! If there's no reason to keep them, chuck it... and fill up the space with more hobby stuff!
I kept a bunch of boxes telling myself I was keeping them to reinforce the Icestorm and Red Veil style buildings. Once CB started doing their Wildfire style buildings I finally put them in the recycling.
*cough* About 1500 models for Infinity, WH AoS and WH40K, more or less 20% of them assembled *cough* Anyway, I keep the blister cards, too. For... sentimental reasons, I guess?
Put them on your gaming board! https://www.customeeple.com/product/12808/?v=0f26a103da90 Granted, it works better with the newer cards than the old N2 (N1?) cards, but still
I used some if the cards to make billboard for scatter terrain. especially those cards that show art work from the books rather than the pure minis. those cards I have from tournament packs and such iirc. there is an idea photo holder set of 3 (white, Gray, black), for passport sized fotos, with a magnetized back. for those I cut the cards to size and use them as the mentioned billboard scatter terrain.
Some get used for billboard or advertising hoardings. Mostly, I toss them once I've built the minis. I don't generally use the same paint schemes anyway, so as a colour reference, they are less than useful.
