Still here, with a lot of questions to clarify rules. • A has Camouflage/Impersonator (let's say imp-2 for this example) and activate himself with a first short skill that does not reveal himself •B have ARO towards A. Option A: he declare Discover. A then decide to shoot back with his second short skill. Is this a Face to Face or a Normal Roll (since the discover of B is uselles, due to A already beeing revealed) ? Option B: he declare delay. • A can reveal himself, and in this way will give B an ARO. Or A can do a short skill that does not reveal himself, and B loose his ability to ARO. Is this B scenario right?
If B declares Discovers, they will be locked into performing that ARO and it will effectively have no effect if A reveals themselves. If A decides to shoot B as their second short skill, B will just take the shot unopposed. If B declares delay, they will only be able to declare an ARO if A reveals themselves by the end of the order (by shooting for example), in which case B will be able to declare any ARO. If A doesnèt reveal themselves, B will not be able to declare anything at all.
Thanks a lot, but i have a firther question on this. There is C, allied of B and enemy of A, that is near B. So: if B declare Discover with his ARO (reacting to the first short skill of A), C can obviously delay. A can now decide if reveal himself (and give C an ARO) or do something that does not reveal himself. If the discover of B succed, can C declare Shoot as ARO? I think not, because all decision are made before doing any rolls?
Correct, you can only declare an ARO after delaying if the opponent reveals themselves on their own, the success of a discover roll happens after any declaration can be made and does not grant the ability to retroactively declare something.
