How can Deva Functionaries use the special skill „number 2“ without beeing able to be in a fireteam? Before i found the deva functionaries and their special skill „number 2“ i thought that i know how to build a fireteam: 1.) start with a trooper which has a fireteam abilitiy 2.) add models of the same unit and or wildcards see wiki - fireteams basic rules: A Fireteam can only be composed of those Troopers listed as being able to compose Fireteams. A Fireteam must be composed of Troopers belonging to the same Unit, or of those that the Sectorial Army List specifies are able to do so. Some special Fireteams can ignore this Requirement, as specified in their description or in the Sectorial Army List. The Deva Functionaries do not have any fire team ability and neither any note that they can be part of a fireteam. Now they do have the skill „number 2“, so they can replace the team leader - how does that works and what am i misunderstanding? Thanks!
Devas can be in Fireteams if you're playing the Operations SubSection Sectorial. No. 2 has no effect in Vanilla Aleph lists or other lists where Devas cannot form Fireteams.
Thanks for the statements - i thought it is a bug in the army builder, because I did not get any info about fireteam abilities for Devas. As i checked the information in the online-shop, i found that the Fireteam Core and Fireteam Haris is mentioned - https://store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/miniatures/deva-functionaries I forgot to mention that im building a Neoterran Army list - did not know that Devas are borrowed from Alpeh - Now i think, that i understand: The Deva Functionaries are troopers of the Aleph Section and can form Fireteams only inside an Aleph army. Even though the Deva Functionaries do no count as merceneraies they can be transfered to other sectorial armies (like Neoterra for example).
