They really look like better painted than not. Shame that the better looking one is YJ and the worst is PanO... x)

Personally, I quite like them, especially the little details.

Rockeater seems quite new, and might not get along with the rest of the Nomads. But it doesn't feel strange, since I can see some details shared with Vostok. And most of all, it's for mining, not for battle, the design could be different.

And most of all, Cavecrawler is the magnum opus of the box. Never expected that an Ariadnan TAG would be so cool, it makes me jealous:smirk:

Overall, I love them, and the plot twist in the summer seminar was AWESOME. Huge thumbs up.

As a really well-known person often says it live... "PanO is a mistake"... :grinning::laughing:

At least they tried something different with Pano ,yu jing looks like a guijia modded and nomad is the most generic and boring of all.

Nomad and Yu Jing mechs seem to have taken design directions from their respective HI and TAGs, which isn't bad in the slightest.
Meanwhile, Ariadnan mech is a bit of a King Crab (meaning ooozing cool and power) while the Pan-O is a bit like someone at CB HQ said "we CAN make the Urbie cool, I'll prove everyone who doubts it wrong!"

I didn't realise they were S7. Thought they were all S6 TAGs.

Sounds of it is that you spend your Teseum between games to customise your mech, so they start similar but the players can develop them in different directions.

Sounds like there will be stretch goals for other Infinity TAGs to have rules in this game as well, similar to what they did with the booster packs for Defiance.

I'm kind of excited for the Stoorworm, and to see other beasties.

The next dev diary - https://infinitytheuniverse.com/blog/tag-raid-notes-04

We're still somewhat light on substance. All this about the sandworm being able to appear on a tile or add himself as a board tile is kind of expected and not too mindblowing. TAGs being able to somehow move through unfilled tiles, if enough of their borders are placed is more interesting, but is essentially equivalent to blank tiles.

Do we know that there will be more? This definitely sounds interesting.

Stoorworm is described as a Megabeast, which implies there are more Megabeasts to come.

I think we'll see both more TAGs and more Megabeasts as stretch goals and expansions. Like how Defiance went from 4 previewed characters to 18!

I think this was more of an explanation as to why they went with a tile system rather than a board when the TAG's movement is not based on anything on those tiles.

Just hopes at this point. I have not heard anything about more Megabeasts, but would definitely be great if there were more cave creatures that the TAGs had to deal with.

Right, just hoping that there's more. Heck, even a second Stoorworm might be neat (provided the game needs 2+).

The preview for the demo game lists 4 players and 1 Megabeast, this suggests to me:

    1) Player number is variable, rather than fixed at 4 line Defiance

    2) Multiple Megabeast can be used.

The stream was interesting for gameplay, so if you want to see it, it should be on Twitch.

TTS & Rulebook sometime in September.

Completely made in China, with plastic (not Siocast/CB made) TAG's and Mega's and such.

"Will it be retail" was answered with "retailers buy during kickstarter" or whatever, which means no retail release past Kickstarter, so buy it then if you want it.
