I also forgot to add that the Asawira has 6-2 MOV, making her an even more order efficient doctor/button pusher. It's ridiculous how good she is really. My latest game I spent like 60% of all my orders on her. She healed Knauf, tanked a mine, ran up to an objective, shot down a Crosier and a Trinitarian who tried to grab it, and eventually dodged into close combat with a hacking-immobilised inquisitor Mendoza and grinded him to death with her Berserk+3 and stole his supply box. Just gold.
But if we REALLY want an order-effective doctor, of course the Hakims can't be beaten. They even pack a Medikit +1B, like a link team. Man I have no idea why I haven't tried them more. They should be excellent at getting to stuff in the midfield, right where you need it the most.
Not only that, the Nasmat A2 doesn't have to enter from the same section as the Hakim; so you can move it to your DZ while Hakim moves midfield. And for 4 pts they are a bargain.
@Grotnib did a great write up on Hakims in their blog: They do add a relatively cheap forward specialist that can revive other forward units on 18s or a burst 2 medkit.
Has anyone gotten the Janissary doctor to work in N4? In vanilla, the Asawira Doctor is superior in nearly every way. I think the Janissary Doctor pairs well with the Asawira Spitfire, but that is a lot of points. Sometimes I wish that Vanilla could Duo...
I have to say that the "asawira" doctor in some vainill list works perfectly, as others said previously. It is a specialist which can go into the battle and have a survival expectations lightly higher, so it is of course a good choice. Not no manay I really hope, this will be one some changes in how the fireteam works (even in vainilla) when we, finally, will have new fireteams rules.
The Janissary doctor took a bad hit, in my mind, with not having Doctor +3 anymore, but only Doctor [2W]. He can still be useful though, but only in lists that maximize the utility of his Doctor [2W]. And that means, he has to be paired up with something that has 2 Wounds, -and- a Cube, so you can reroll those doctor checks. Thankfully, most of Haqq's heavy infantry seem to have Cubes nowadays. I've had some success, though that was in late N3, pairing the Janissary doctor up with Tarik Mansuri. When I got Tarik back up to full wounds, that was just ridiculous. The main problem with the Janissary doctor is that the Asawira doctor is so crazy good, that the Janissary gets hard to justify. He only gets people back up at 14, whereas all other Haqq doctors does it at 17 or 18, and that's kind of a big bummer.
...and the Hakim is a WIP 15 Medium Infantry - "I'd like one Follow-Up Classified Objective point, thank you very much!" <3
