I'm thinking of your hollow men as different avatar skins for these computer game playing brains in jars!

    Thanks guys!

That was more or less the idea, @wisefaiz – I thought since they're just robot suits, Tunguska might employ different manufacturers with different branded paintjobs on their models. Most of all though, I just didn't want to paint five Hollowmen the same way :P

Good thing I'm already hard at work finishing the rest ;) Starting with a second Tomcat and a second Hellcat:

Those were especially satisfying since they belonged to that very first batch of Infinity models I bought 8 years ago. Since after assembling them I realized I'll never realistically need more than one Tomcat or Hellcat, they then stayed in the bag for another year. Now, they mostly reminded me of how much easier it is to paint the newer sculpts than the old ones. All those shallow details...

    And another team complete:

I have to say, finishing a mini is even more satisfying when it's part of a box, even if you never actually bought the minis as a box in the first place :P

The last one missing for those was the Doctor. He first had to get a hand replacement after he had graciously donated his right hand to my Tunguska Daktari. Well, one Doctor's hand shakes the other, as it seems.

Haha. It goes on the pile of nicknames she already has: Hobbes, Cheetarah, Tigger :P

    Another straggler joins the ranks:

Considering that her brother was one of the first nomad I painted, it's a shame how long it took me to get the pair back together. Luckily, it gave me enough time to practice my OSL:

Working on my five-men Mobile Brigada team right now. Until that's finished, here's my Gecko conversion for N4. Panzerfaust, Multi Marksman Rifle, Chain Rifle:

The panzerfaust is the Taskmaster HRL turned upside down, the multi marksman rifle is just his combi with some bits chopped off and rearranged with some additional other bits. The Blitzen just got his wings chopped off and declared a chain rifle by royal decree.

Who needs a full five-man team of Mobile Brigada in N4? No one.
Who decided to paint the whole thing anyway? This guy.

Good thing I'm less interested in competitive play than in putting my minis on the table no matter what, so I'll definitely play a list with all five (six) of them in it just for the fun of it :D

    Here are the single minis:

Epilogue: I know I'm not saying anything new here, but it's so ridiculous how much smaller the female versions are than the male ones. Good thing HI have evolved a bit since then.

Don´t be ashamed. The models are amazing and your painting is as well. I have 8 Brigadas, 6 painted, 2 converted, and a new one on the bench to do a 28mm version of Acherontia (the Luxumbra bust). Get them on the table, give hell to the opponent. ARM5 makes them tough as nails.

    First Prowler: June1st 2020
    Second Prowler: June 8th 2021 :P

This guy was already on the selling block at one point, because when would I ever need a second Prowler? But he was among those very first minis that brought me to Infinity eight years ago, so I couldn't bring myself to actually let him go, especially since his pose is just so cool. So here he finally is :)

I rarely post WIPs, but since it's taking me a bit longer than usual, here's a little update on what's happening: It's finally TAG time again!

Ok, they're definitely called the Gecko Brothers.
But which one is Seth and which one is Richard ?

Well, there's one professional looking guy with a gun, and there's one guy who brought a panzerfaust. You tell me.

Well, I'm certainly determined to finish my Nomads. If all goes well, by the end of this month. Only a handful of models left, and I've already got the next project lined up and eager to get into ;)

Behold, the mighty pair of brothers:

    Now also with a pilot:

Second Gecko definitely took longer than the first one. Much more open pose, two big guns instead of one, and I needed to go back on the orange some more to get the contrast right. But damn was it worth it.

I have to admit: Every time I finish an S4, S5, S6 or S7 model, I'm just so happy when I get to go back to an S2 model. Suddenly, everything seems to go so fast :P Especially if the model crosses her arms in front of her chest and doesn't have a single weapon :D
