So this part of the forum have been pretty dead for a while. How are people doing with WhiteCo?

I've mostly mained them this last year and I think they are pretty nice! The Haidao MSV 2 is so good tho that not having it in your list feels like a nerf to your entire line up.

The inclusion of Chaksa longarms are great imo, I've been having great sucess with the E/M grenades.

Have played them a lot, mostly on TTS. Won a tournament where they performed excellent. Plan is to play them IRL as a complement to all my Yu jing forwards.

Havent tried the chaksa yet. Great looking model, but Im unshure. Are you putting him in a harris ? What sort of harris ?

I'm waiting for my Hawkwood and Peacemaker to be painted up, then I'll start using them in full once again.

    I got thoughts x3:
    • Not had much luck with the chaksa E/M grenades, killed some chaff with combi rifle in a recent game but thats all I can say for it, usually this guy is a taowu pretending to not exist.
    • Success with white company for me seems to lean on double guilang hacker and double sierra (available in much stronger yu jing), the link options dont seem exceptional: fail me every time, perhaps Ive been unlucky? or I just suffer co-ordinated panzerfaust removal meta.
    • I want to love the karhu NCOs for the utilisation of LT order, but Ive got no notable use out of them, lots of solo stuff suffers from being a worse guilang.

I've put him in a Haris with Hawkwood and a specialist (tried Haidao engineer and Valerya) as my push unit!

Nice! I've finally painted up all the profiles I'm using (shona, orc combi and some Kaplans left)

I often use the Karhu with the Feuerbach, sometimes only standing there being a threat or nuking a key piece. The engineer one was an MVP in my latest Looting and Sabotaging game

That karhu engineer is a tasty combat specialist package, really outshines the other 4 engineer choices, inspired!

I will have to try him out. I overall prefere an Orc or a kaplan as a starting point for my harris. Since there is several models which cant join a chaksa harris.

Lately my favorite harris has been:

    - kaplan spitfire, csu specialist and lian Kai. Only 60 points, non hackable, with specialist for buttons. I sometimes switch lian kai for Shona Carano if the point are there.

    - jujak spitfire, kaplan specialist and lian kai. 77 points. Jujak has been super good but a little more vulnerable for hacking when i move out.

    - Orc HMG, cheapest jujak and valerya. 84 points. If i have the points the jujak are upgraded to firewall. In mind wipe and looting and sabotage the jujak is switched for a haidao engineer.

I haven't yet been able to play WC. I've painted up some Kaplans but so far used as Ye Mao in WB. Then I finally got a Guijia which made me want to play IA again. I can use him in WC though!

Which profile did you use? I really like the basic Combi+Pulzar for 22pts.

I keep making lists but there's so much I want to try.

For a core I like Kaplans, mainly because I can add a Jujak Tinbot -6 and Valerya.

KAPLAN (Engineer, Deactivator) Combi Rifle, Adhesive Launcher, D-Charges ( | GizmoKit) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 27)
JUJAK Breaker Combi Rifle, Heavy Flamethrower ( | TinBot: Firewall [-6]) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 30)
VALERYA GROMOZ (Hacker) Combi Rifle, Zapper, Pitcher / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0.5 | 21)
CSU (Specialist Operative) Breaker Combi Rifle, Nanopulser(+1B) / Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-6). (0 | 15)
CSU (Specialist Operative) Rifle, Light Shotgun / Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-6). (0 | 11)

    0.5 SWC | 104 Points

For Haris, I again want Kaplans because I love Liang Kai.

KAPLAN (Doctor) Combi Rifle, Blitzen ( | MediKit) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 27)
CSU (Specialist Operative) Rifle, Light Shotgun / Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-6). (0 | 11)
LIANG KAI Chain Rifle, Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse / Pistol, EXP CC Weapon. (0 | 21)

    0 SWC | 59 Points

I get that Fusilier Hackers are mostly just some hacking chaff to cover Valerya, but if these guys are in a link – they may find themselves in a situation where you'll be able to either hack or shoot with your link team. This may lead to situations where Fusiliers won't be able to hack or Haidao won't be able to shoot. Chaksas I haven't tried, although in a Haris they might be a decent disposable template piece and also a decent platform for speculative fire shenanigans, I'd rather take a Kaplan Doctor instead. Also, if you're using Hawkwood anyway, why not pick an Lt. option just to make it fluffier?

Guilang Minelayers are a godsend, but the lack of midfield specialists can bite you in the butt, as well as the lack of a dedicated alpha-strike piece like Peacemaker. All the smoke from Varangians is better utilized in conjunction with a Nisse, so I would consider switching Karhu to a Nisse HMG. Karhu has a higher anti-armor potential, but he might be having some trouble killing people one by one from a safe harbor of smoke clouds.

I've been thinking about who I like for a Lt.. The Fuisilier is cheap but very squishy. And once asked what my target number was for the Lt. roll, it's obvious who it is and really limits me. Maybe if I'm also taking CoC Hawkwood.

Hawkwood is ok. He at least has NWI and can do some shooting himself.

My favorite is actually the Jujak. He's really cheap for being a HI. 26pts is not bad. Cheap enough I don't feel bad if he doesn't do much himself. He has a good WIP, can hide out in a room on his own with the HFT.

Auto no-go for me is the Guilang. He's need to much for other jobs.

FUSILIER (Lieutenant) Combi Rifle / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 10)
HAWKWOOD (Lieutenant) K1 Marksman Rifle, Nanopulser(+1B) / MULTI Pistol, Monofilament CC Weapon. (0 | 41)
HAWKWOOD (Lieutenant) Red Fury, Nanopulser(+1B) / MULTI Pistol, Monofilament CC Weapon. (1 | 40)
NISSE (Lieutenant) Combi Rifle, Light Shotgun / Pistol, CC Weapon. (1 | 28)
JUJAK (Lieutenant) Combi Rifle, Heavy Flamethrower / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 26)
ORC (Lieutenant) MULTI Rifle / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 31)
ORC (Lieutenant) Heavy Machine Gun / Pistol, CC Weapon. (1 | 37)
GŪIJIĂ (Lieutenant) MULTI Heavy Machine Gun, Heavy Flamethrower / DA CC Weapon. (2 | 82)
[IMG] GŪIJIĂ PILOT Submachine Gun / Pistol, Shock CC Weapon. (0 | 0)
GŬILÁNG (Lieutenant) Combi Rifle, Shock Mines / Pistol, CC Weapon. (1 | 25)
HAWKWOOD (Chain of Command) Red Fury, Nanopulser(+1B) / MULTI Pistol, Monofilament CC Weapon. (1 | 45)
