As it may take at least a month for some of us just to get the eyes done, it may be considered as cheating a bit
A chilled evening chatting and painting orange. Now I have a lot of black to paint. I don’t like painting black :-(
Finished Jayth Cutthroats that I didn't have time to complete last month. Now working on Taigha critters. It's going to be a bit of a chore as I don't find the Taighas very exciting to paint.
Thanks Dawg. It’s a base of (GW) Blazing Orange highlighted with (GW) Macharius Solar Orange, (any) White added in increasing amounts up to pure white for extreme edge highlights. Shaded with (GW) Dark Flesh with (any) Black added for panel lining. Hope this helps.
Thanks! I tried different colours on the Taighas so I wouldn't get bored painting the same thing. Cadmus will be much darker once I'm done with them.
From the previous post I couldn't help but think that the enemy helmet was too close to the red/orange of the armour but now it contrasts enough. So good background and better shooting conditions really makes a difference ^^ Great results with this one.
