Noticed something curious on the statline for the AC2 Consoles in the ITS12 book (p.34) that I could not find addressed on the forum (though I did discover that people seem to really hate this mission): Is there a reason why the consoles have a PH attribute? Am I missing something?
I would presume it’s in case they are hit with something that can somehow damage them and that’s got a PH roll for a save instead of an ARM or BTS save attached. Can’t think of any such attack off the top of my head that would matter, though. It’s not like an Adhesive Launcher is going to do much in this instance. I presume that the stat block there is designed to be a comprehensive list of what you need for an inert, destructible scenery element.
Ah, that makes sense I guess... though as you allude to, there is seemingly no weapon in the game that requires a PH save and also is Anti-Material. It seemed particularly odd to me as a piece of scenery though, since in subsequent pages of the book, other targetable sceneries like the "Server" (p.36) and "Biotechvore Antenna" (p.40) don't have a PH stat.
We need a PH roll to allow it to resolve the use of a GizmoKit. “The AC2s can be the target of the Engineer Special Skill or the GizmoKit piece of Equipment”
