So, a Holoecho is cancelled if they're forced to make a save - Forward Observer and Spotlight doesn't do this.
Also, the states that the trooper has are replicated among the echoes.

    1. If an echo is hit, does it get Targeted and remains?
    2. If the real trooper is hit, does Targeted spread and the state remains uncancelled?

"Holoecho State replicates the State Tokens (Prone, Unloaded, etc.) or pieces of Equipment (TinBots, SymbioMates, etc.) that the Holoprojector bearer may have." would seem to imply that they can't have their own Targeted state, but that if the bearer becomes Targeted, the echoes do too.

I doubt it's intended (the intention was probably that getting hit by Spotlight or FO would cancel an echo), but that's how it reads to me.

Hmmm. Yes I think you're probably right. The term Game Element is very broad (the Terminology rule explicitly applies it to scenery elements and state tokens, for example) so surely includes the holoecho markers. The effect of the Provisional Ruling seems to be that any Game Element which can be the Target of an attack can receive Game States, and we know that holoecho markers can be the target of an attack.

So, that leaves the question: what happens when a holoecho marker becomes Targeted? We know that "Holoecho State replicates the State Tokens... that the Holoprojector bearer may have." This seems to say that you can't have an echo in a state the bearer isn't in, and vice-versa. So, if an echo becomes Targeted, do the bearer and the other echo become Targeted too since they all replicate the same states?

Or, since the echoes "replicate" the bearer's states but not the reverse, does the echo that becomes Targeted then instantly lose its Targeted state (because it replicates the States of the bearer, and the bearer isn't in the Targeted state)?

Holoecho State replicates the State Tokens (Prone, Unloaded, etc.) or pieces of Equipment (TinBots, SymbioMates, etc.) that the Holoprojector bearer may have.

Taking that into consideration I would say that if the holoprojector bearer is targeted, all the holoechos are as well, but if you targeted One decoy, just this holoecho is targeted.

Anyhow a clarification from @ijw would be great.

    Cheers
