    Hi guys,

I’ve been playing Infinity since N2 with different factions and I think it’s time to pick up ForCo. I love the vibe, I love the models but I wasn’t able to play with them yet so I’m just theory crafting. So as a newbie I have a few takes and questions. (And also it’s my first post on forums so hello)

    Laxmee:

She seems like a beast. Especially bc of pitcher-spotlight-clipper combo. I think this strategy is way better in N4 and ForCo is capable of bringing linked pitcher with several hackers and ML bot with good engineer to back him up.

The link I came up with is:

    Orc HMG

    Laxmee

    Bolt KHD

    Molt MSR

5th dude might be Senor might be Orc with Tinbot might be another bolt

Double zeros are great. Akal is great. Crocs are awesome. Uberfall I believe is a must take.

The units where I’m a bit undecided are:

Kriza: I know ppl love them in Tunguska but in ForCo they lack fireteam options. Linked orc looks like superior fire platform to me. Only way I can see myself fielding a Kriza is if I use Securitate/CSU link. Honestly I would love to run Kriza every list because models are just too good to stay at home.

Securitate/CSU link team: I love CSU but I think they are better as solo button pushers with metachemistry. I don’t think this link brings anything better than bolts apart from being dirt cheap link to guard backline, push buttons in T3.

Will Bill: honestly have no idea if he’s good or not. Models are awesome but I don’t have any good idea how we should use him.

Hannibal: I think he might be worth his points. CoC with lt kriza or bolt hmg is great. And also bringing your link team closer to an enemy (possibly securing better rooftop for our bolt MSR). He is still really pricy.

Kaplans: idk are those just extra bolts to field hairs plus core?

Tag: is it good? Should we play it?

English is not my native language so please tell me if I made I mistake so I can edit the post. Please also tell me if the editing is okay on my post or should I change something? Like I said it’s my first post on forum so I’m a bit nervous

TLDR: new to ForCo. Are Kaplans, Hannibal, Kriza, Securitate and Will Bill good?

Wild bill and kaplans are good.for aggressive midfield fireteam while your bolt/orc fireteam sits defensive. I have struggled to fit kriza in a lost I'm happy with and iguana seems to be polarising. I'm very much same as you tho all theory little play thanks to covid

Thanks for replying. How would you build Kaplan Harris? One specialist Kaplan, wild Bill and aggressive Kaplan or maybe laxmee?

Few different ways as I say I'm mostly theory and what other people have said, but wild bill and the rocket launcher with a specialist kaplan or avicenna or laxmee is one popular one I have seen spoke about.
Equally the spitfire seems a solid midfield gunner but maybe him and Bill overlap too much.

If you are on Facebook there is actually a foreign company group too with a really helpful bunch on there

I think you’re on the right track with a lot of it. I agree with you on Bolts, ORCs, and Securitate. I agree with you about the Kriza as well. I think that in N3 it was top tier, and it’s just not quite there anymore. It’s still good though.

I don’t like running the iguana personally. That’s in large part because I also play PanO and ALEPH which have amazing tags.

One critique I have is putting Laxmee and a killer hacker in the same fireteam. Hackers in a fireteam already limit the ability of the team to react. Putting Laxmee and a killer hacker in the same team means that you have to break the team if they are both going to ARO against a hacker. It’s not the end of the world, but I find it less than ideal. Pairing her with a bolt hacker though can add some support and redundancy.

Oh that’s a solid point about hackers. KHD can run in Harris and for the same cost we can pick up Massacre. I really wish Kriza was good enough to take him all the time. I also played Cutters in my experience so Iguana looks really underwhelming. It’s cheap tho. Maybe Kriza and Iguana have their place in limited insertion lists

I like to run a core of 3 Bolts and a haris of Kaplan with Laxmee in tow. Kaplan are good gunfighters and specialists and give Laxmee a good team to hang out in. The Iguana is one of my favorite units and the fact it has a repeater comes in handy in this hacker-heavy meta.

Great choice! I've recently gotten into the army too, and they're a whole lot of fun.

The Kaplan get a cheap HRL and a great Engineer, so they definitely have a place in your collection, I've rarely run them (as a haris) though.

The Iggy is not a great pick, as everyone list builds to be able to deal with true armour now, and she aint that, so she tends to go down really quick. One nice thing she got in N4 is the escape system got buffed - instead of being catapulted somewhere across the board more often than not, now the pilot climbs out in base2base with the tag, and a smoke template is triggered, meaning you're way more likely to get a chance to use the HI pilot. 65pts seems too much to me. Make her 58, or S3, and I'd be interested. But really, the Iggy can't compete with a coreteam Bolt - they are just so strong as your key attack pieces.

Word of warning on Laxmee - she really needs a tinbot imo, if you're leveraging her for pitchers & targeted, or she'll be in trouble against true hacking armies.

One thing I'll say in defence of Securitate: when you run them alongside Bolts you suddenly have a list that's extremely resilient to LoL. We have pretty obvious LT options, so that's a real boon in my book.
