Kaldstrom ORC time! I wasn't initially thrilled with the miniature and I had to do some bending to get the flowing coat to fit correctly but after being assembled and painted I really like it.
What did you use for the snow on the base? Edit: oh I saw the answer on the previous page - GW texture paint.
That's the Bøyg Soldier completed. And he's looking very schwing along side his fellow PanO miniatures.
Well my limited edition copy of the Betrayal manga has arrived so I have the lovely Ko Dali miniature to paint. There is a but however, because I don't have a clue what scheme I'm going to paint her.
Apologies for going radio silent for a while, I've been locking horns with my 40k pile of shame (just 4 models left!) and a rather large kickstarter package containing a lot of battlemechs (remember tukayyid!). Thankfully those piles of shame are nearly defeated and it'll be time to lock horns with my infinity backlog which has gotten a little bigger since my military orders pre order arrived through the post last week.
Congrats on you finishing off your backlog. That is a feat most people can't say they have done themselves. Looking forward to seeing how the new knights look. It will be a nice preview before I buy some of them.
Thanks golem, it's a good feeling to defeat a large chunk of my pile of shame. On the subject of Military Orders I had a scare last night. I was going through the contents of my military orders action pack and realised that I had a misspack. I had received an extra set of arms for my knight of the holy sepulchre insted of the knight of justice with spitfire. So I emailed corvus belli last night and they've responded to apologise and they'll send the missing miniature for free. Some good quality customer service there.
I have had that happen recently with a Nomad Iguana T.A.G. I bought. How did you contact CB's department that handles mispacks & missing parts?
I just followed this guide by koni https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/en-missing-pieces-quality-control-codes-tutorial.26928/
Since I've nearly finished with my backlog of non infinity miniatures I decided to celebrate by beginning to work through my Infinity backlog. The miniature I decided to paint was my Knight of the Holy Sepulchre.
Just over a week after I contacted Corvus Belli regarding the miss packed infinity knight, look who's turned up at my addressin the UK. Top quality customer service.
That's the knight commander done. I wasn't sure about the purple on his coat but I think it looks really good with the red trim.
