Combined army TAG have good specialists pilot, and, as they are remote presence, we can risk them without worrying to much. Overdron will often be kept as a last miniature so it can play roadblock in front of a MSV that could be dangerous for the Noctifer/Malignos (or go suppressive using command token if a good LoF is available) - the Taigha are here to create some chaos. First turn, they defend my DZ and/or move to protect objectives, with the goal of wasting my opponent order. If they survive, they can sacrifice themselves to kill some people midfield - Xeodron/Caliban play objectives and offensive. Both can deal with most threat and push some button/rescue some civilian - shrouded and bit/kiss will mostly stay hidden turn 1 and wait for turn 2/3 to go for some objectives - Mentor lieutenant because it's cheap and easy to hide Any thought/advise on this list ?
Speaking from experience you'll really miss any MSV in the list because it's going to be easy to counter the list with Smoke.
Looks fun to play. I totally missed the fact the overdrone has a msg with that profile now and the xenodrone was upgraded to a k1 marksman rifle!
I've been thinking about it but there is no MSV trooper in CA that I like. I may try charontid someday but the other don't attract me when doing some list buildin
If you can find space for Ko Dali she's (usually) a great (nasty) surprise for the opponent. A Maakrep with MSR is also a great backfield piece. Haiduks can IMO be bypassed since the only good Haiduk profile is in SEF.
I'd prefer going HRMC overdrone for active turn shooting, as all your active pieces are B3, with no vis mods or msvs, I'd prefer to try and leverage a bit my chances of winning FTFs, especially if there are linked MLs, mimetims AROs. Also not really sold on Malignos msr, I just have pretty bad experience with TO snipers as ARO pieces.
