I realized, that new fusiliers and zhanashi from Kaldrstrom fits well by style in their sectorial, but not in other sectorials. I am sure, you need no warm coat on Varuna! (For example) Visually they are not universal. And now old boxes with 4 units looks like something alien or outdated. They do not fit in style. I liked old fusiliers and zhanshi from starters, that are discontinued now. They were universal and fits well to any sectorial where they are. May be I am just tired of snow on the streets (oh yes, we haven’t normal spring yet. But I hope, it would be warm later. And for long time.) But I am still confused about old good miniatures. It is hard to find zhanshi for Invincible army. So, I think, it would be good to have some sculpts back. (I mean usual line infantry with Combi) Or at least update old and outdated boxes of line infantry.
The 4 Fusilier/Zhanshi boxes match the style of the ones from the starters that are discontinued (Icestorm and Red Veil), and came out later than those, so i'm not sure what you mean by alien or outdated?
3+1 boxes maybe? Sometimes a token, sometimes a different troop. Another thing of the original base troops was they were simple, even one piece, nothing to glue.
He means that they do not match the currently available Kaldstrom LI. He’s asking for a reissue of the icestorm fusiliers & red veil zhanshi so the available LI match each other.
Gotcha, I followed the general idea of the post, dunno why I tripped up on that part. I think I was reading it as they look outdated compared to the range in general. I like the Svalarheima specific line troops visually, but it was a bit of an odd choice. You either have all the line infantry looking specific to one region, mismatched rifle and SWC troops (which is what we have now) or two full sets of line troops.
I like, that you understood, what I said. Indeed. Only heroes with combi wears special marks! THE COATS! Like Aquila Guard. Coats to be proud xD And we’ve got some repacks of units from starters... in booster packs. I really like an idea 3+1 box as were mentioned above. But I have no illusions, that this would be heard actually.
Heheh, then I misundertood you. Because I thought the "boxes with 4 being alien" was that now boxes with 4 are a mix of troops (lastest I remember: 3 Cheerkillers with "normal" weapons plus 1 Grenzer with Missile Launcher). Some people do not like that at all, because if you want one of the sides but not the other, you have to pay more (the full box or whatever a splitter wants to charge).
I guess, it would never be an optimal option. There are factions, where there are no fusilier and zhanshi at least. Going to focus on them. But it is a little unfair. We have miniatures of ghulams and alguaciles in action packs. (Female alguaciles have strange hand. I have a question too proportions. Another question.) Alguaciles would get some rework, I guess. And I think, it doesn’t mean, that action pack would gone.
