And once again, this is an outlier, which is why people constantly feel the need to use similar pictures to “prove” humans are different sizes. Or are you saying every woman is that petite and every man is massive? The problem is that in CBworld all females are tiny and all males are huge.
Just looking at some of my minis, and I don’t see the disparity you mention in all CB minis (setting aside the Al Fasid). I’m only using these pictures in particular because I don’t have group shots of the rest. I guess we just have different opinions about their appearances, which is just part of what makes up this rich tapestry we call life. All the best to you and may Mastiff enjoy painting whatever he chooses to paint.
It tends to be pronounced in the HI. Compare Male/Female Zuyongs, ORCs, Pan-O Knights, Domaru LI seem to often be fine.
First ORCs, Domarus and Mobile Brigadas were reasonable. New Domarus try to hide the problem with the pose, but new MBs do not try and...
Least?*headscratch* Haqq and YJ LIs shown by @Wikkid Devil above, male & female thighs similar there vs the obvious thickness difference in the Nomad HIs? The height of the MBs are OK (check modern stats, difference is around 10-15 cm, so 2-3 mm in scale)... the volumes are waaaaaaaaaaay wrong, even more noticeable because poses are similar.
For me MBs and Domarus are in the same level. That is why I wondered about "least". Least would be when there is difference, but not absurd like the ones we mentioned so far. The weird side is that Oyama wears a suit similar to modern male Domarus, but sized more compatible with the females.
That’s because Oyama is an N2 Human Sphere hand sculpt. Domaru release was delayed after announcement because the original print masters were even bigger than these. If you think MB are as bad as this, well, that’s your opinion.
Mastiff I’m really rather sorry I said anything, your thread got thoroughly highjacked a a result. Please post more of your beautifully painted minis soon!
