    @wuji . . .

    ShinjitsuNoRyu, "Dragon of Truth"; Basically Ikari's followers disillusioned with all the bullshit after seeing the truth of everything.

    Appearance could be the coats of the Kempeitai minus the sleeves over Ryuken clothing. Girls in long coats, dudes in short coats.

    . . . . .

    Duly noted; will try out something about it. . .

    I'll put back the KHD, I'll admit I got overzealous thinking of them as the Bebop crew

    What do you mean?

    That I will try to conceptualize the idea that You suggested about "Colonel Heidern Ikari" and his "Elite Cadre of Warriors". . .

    Should the results of My attempt be NOT of Your liking, no problem, will recycle them as "Another Oriental Mercenaries Company" and not Ikaris. . .

    Will also try in the same context the ideas, expressed in Rough Concept Sketches, of the "Ideal Mercenary Tag" that We discussed in the General Merc Thread. . .

    Dude, who cares if I like it, what matters is if you like it, but if you do like it, thank you, I just felt inspired. I kind of want people to mashups of other units now. Just take two of your favorite units and smash them together like I did and see what happens. I mean, I dont think the price changed much for the troops I made so hopefully this will help CB make cool new troops in the game. And yeah these are optimized in their current configurations but not OP.

    Also, the vibe I got from the way you spoke was totally like you work for CB or something!

    There are two problems with sectorial specific models:

    -CB has realised as of a few years ago that they suffer SKU bloat: that is, there's so many models they've repackaged many single blisters into larger boxes. Adding more models isn't wise if you're trying to keep the number of product codes available at any one time open.

    -CB needs to turn a profit. A model that only operates in a single NA2 sectorial (such as an Ikari-exclusive model) would have to sell a certain number of units to be viable: in my meta(s) Ikari isn't very well played, meaning the proportion of the player-base who might buy such a model is lower than making yet another Joan sculpt.

    So if CB does make a new model that would be Ikari-specific or themed, it would probably be an individual rather than a new fireteam: there's no point sculpting new models unless they're going to sell. There's still a few major sectorials that lack a Spec Ops character: I think from CB's perspective the most cost-effective way to introduce an Ikari-based model is something that's dual-use in at least one other sectorial, and that would be the most efficient way of doing it. Say a character that links with Moderators in Bakunin, and with either of the Fireteam: Core options in Ikari.

    As to what this model would do, Ikari suffers very specific problems: they're really a chaff/horde army anchored by a few middle-of-the-road stronger pieces, and their choices of models (things on bikes, Bashis, Krakots, Yuan Yuan, Ninja) impose a fairly aggressive strategy. What I mean by this is that there are certain factional flavour things which probably restrict exactly what a new model would be able to do or what equipment they might take: so something utility-focused might be wiser than something that's just a really good combat piece. Maybe something with Holoprojector (level 1) and a Biometric Visor (level 2), a Specialist Operative if not a paramedic. Something that won't really add to Ikari being a mostly chaff army that might be used as a "hero" piece that adds more aggressive power, and not something that's tanky and rock solid: but something that adds case-specific utilities to give Ikari a little more tactical depth than we currently are stuck with. It wouldn't ruin Ikari's "theme" but at the same time would be something that would make certain unit choices more viable or difficult to choose between elsewhere when it comes to army-list creation.

    I don't see them making a troops exclusive to Ikari but I can see a character. They may be tied to other figures though to buy. Like Arslan is in a set. I'd love to see a 3 character NA2 set like the CA one was all characters. Ikari, Dahshat, and Wolfgang.

    Since I'm feeling creative, I'd love a Karakuri character! It's a Karakuri that's been inhabited by a rouge AI.

    If not exclusive character, I think it would be cool to have "versions" of existing. Like Saito has a SO version in Druze but not others. So a special Brawler, Keisotsu, or Wu Ming would be cool. It could be things that don't really need a figure too. Like a skill or equipment.
