Outside of Steel Phalanx (Achilles and Diomedes been the two most frequent), Hussein Al-Djabel and Raoul Spector are the two most known to be frequently resurrected, both tied to really strong haqquislam interests, Nomads do offer a path of resurrection outside of Aleph, but Nomads are Nomads, in general though characters are not easily brought back if they are not of important status and with deep connections (such as Joan).

Kasym's cube been missing means the sisters cannot guarantee a permanent death, and that someone has it, who though and to what extend we do not know, it could be some intelligence service to hack it for information, some loyal ally to prevent it from been destroyed, an underground insurance contract, or something completely else.

Note that Al-Djabel uses older personality backup techniques so that he has no cube to capture or interrogate. It's slower and more expensive but also provides the possibility that even Ariadnan characters could be running around in Lhosts.

I'm pretty sure some Aristeia! characters are described as wearing high grade Lhosts rather than their original bodies too.

I didn't know about Raoul. I guess I've never read his background. I did know about Al-Djabel, but was under the impression he used some other method (memory tapes?).

In any case, I was contesting Arkangel's suggestion that dead Infinity characters are always brought back to life as L-Hosts or Sepsitorized troop. Its just not really true at all, as far as I can tell. It seems like we have very, very few examples.

Raoul definitely not about Haqquislam interests. He has a deal with one of the sultans, very powerful, but with bad reputation. For now our hero more like a toy and attraction for this man. So, no Haqquislam interests.

But that’s just a little moments. The main question here is about Kasym. Shady things about his death, indeed.
I hope, one day we would know, what happened. I like such untold moments. (And yet I am VERY sad to loose units. Proxying looks not like the best option after that...)

If we're talking about characters in the miniature game then yes but those characters have received true deaths in the fiction (ie. Tony Macayana). In the fiction though there are characters that come back all the damn time (Achilles, Diomedes, Raul).

The recovery of Kasym Beg CUBE and His subsequent revenge against the traitorous, ungrateful Twin seems a cool concept around which basing a RPG Campaign of Infinity. . .

Seemed a bit of an ass of character personality, but also disproportionally generous with Loyal Followers. . .

And could be an idea to explore the various Clans and Intercine Politics of the Kums; always thought that CB based those, somehow, on the "Fremen from Arrakis" of Dune, while the more refined, sophisticated parts of Haqqislam were inspired by the rest of "Imperial Society from Dune" (and obviously there are parallels between "Spice of Arrakis" and "S.I.L.K. of Bourak"). . .

Now let's hope that some DARING Haqqislamite Biotech Firm (maybe with "Advisors" from Nomad Praxis Black-Labs and Spiral Corps Tohaa Biomancers) would not start to create Giant Carnivorous Desert Worms. . .

Could be Critters useful to terraforming further Bourak, but SURELY the project would crash down perversely. . .

    . . . . . .

Brought to attention Dune anyway because a Secondary Character from the First Books and Movies ("Duncan Idaho" main Duelist of the Atreides Court; in the next movie played by Jason Momoa) is, in the later istances of the Book-Series, continuosly Resurrected and have to cope with "Deifferent Bodies Syndrome". . .

So could be useful to draw a parallel between Infinity Resurrections and Dune "Soul Clones"; also Kasym could resemble quite a slightly beefier Momoa. . . . .!!!

Well it’s been mentioned throughout the post, and you have two examples: Sergeant Ko Dali and Bit & Kiss. In the latest story, and mentioned in text, Ko Dali was found dead with about 20 dead Combined Army troops around her body. Her death was confirmed by a drone flyby but when they went to recover the body it was gone. The question remains: was she dead and then resurrected (and obviously sepsitorized), was she barely alive and decided to switch sides, or did she lack choice to join the EI and Combined Army?

Others who died and were brought back are Joan of Arc (despite being a replica), pretty much most of the Steel Phalanx, and how do you think Aristeia! players are able to “reskin” themselves if they’re not mechanical?

And just to clarify when I refer to Lhosts, I talking about all reproduced bodies using Silk and a Cube. Aleph typically controls who gets resurrected, but all replicas and those serving the AI directly get reborn. Also, an I mistaken, or is LeMuet a Lhost? Or just a zombie?

The loss of Kasym was a big and painful thing, especially that I worked on his miniature for a rather long time and finished him not long before N4. And he was a staple in my armylists, most used character, one of the favourites.
In one of his last tournaments he destroyed Ratnik with a single beautiful Panzerfaust shot...

And then they took him away...
    :(

    But
    he'll
    be
    back.

Fast explanation: (DC's) Marvel's Moon Knight homage. Just with a bored haqq sultan looking (and commenting, and "suggesting", and ressurrecting) through spector's eyes instead of an egyptian pantheon. Both characters were mercs before getting the "passengers", both got the passengers when they broke in where they shouldn't, only Moon Knight turned into a human-level hero.

EDIT: fixed Moon Knight belonging to Marvel, not to DC (I was thinking on the lines "discount batman without so many gadgets & money", but yeah... I think the only time I checked the character was when they announced him... and then I saw the pajama with Akalis' DA gear and simply forgot about him...)

Let us bow our heads for the recently killed (by two beauties) but soon-to-be-back-amongst-us Kasym who made a river of blood that filled the tire tracks of his bike.

Long story short: he gave the look to some sexy amazonian firebrand in plain sight of his harem. Said harem is ruled by two crazy hellions that can CC an Avatar to death. He got shivved shortly thereafter.

You'd think two dead warlords at the hands of their concubines would serve as a deterrent to any other man who wishes to occupy the role of chieftain... and you'd be wrong. All prospective riders are waiting in line outside the Silken Tent of Splendor doing stretches, each carrying a Quran and a pack of Redbull cans. They know they won't live to see N5, should they be chosen, but they don't seem to care.

    Sigh...

WHAT DID YOUR MOTHER TELL YOU ABOUT FAST GIRLS, BOY?

    I’ve never heard about him.

In this case better to bury Kasym and forget about him too.
    Meh...

(I am worried about other characters cause of this things. And this part of CB’s decisions I don’t like.)
