Why would it only apply if going over the halfway line? The Infiltration Special Skill is being used, so any MODs listed in the unit profile for Infiltration are applied.
why it applyed only to this case if WHOLE skill is "infiltration [+6]"? you infiltrate your half & also get a MOD cause you use a skill. you just not need it mostly cause in ordinary games you not need to roll at all. but with a Confused Deployment you need. UPD ninjaed
Honestly, cause I'm a derp and thought it worked like in n3 where the mod was explicitly for when u would roll infilitrate normally (their half) and then u get the +6. And not did u use the skill and need to make a roll (which is what it is in n4) So ignore me :)
On a related tangent to this thread, if a model with Forward Deployment/Infiltration and the Minelayer skill deploys in their deployment zone, therefore not requiring a PH roll for confused deployment, can one of their pieces of deployable equipment be deployed outside of the DZ but inside ZOC without making a roll. Can't find anything under the confused deployment rules to prevent this.
The equipment is deployed using the same rules as the minelayer deploying it, therefore the only way you'd be allowed to place the mine outside the deployment zone is if you also place the minelayer using a rule that allows for that.
