I feel really dumb trying to understand Mission 3: Arrest Warrant. Especially since they tried to make a cutscene-like effect with Charontid moving to phase 1. Took me 20 minutes to figure out that you deploy Charontid near Infirmary only to immediately move to Phase 1 space. But when do you do it? It says First Round - Charontid flees. No specifics. Does that mean beginning of the round, end of the round or charontid's activation? Or is there some kind of trigger?
The mission starts in Phase 1 with the Charontids deployed outside the Infirmary on tile A14. First Round is not first turn, think of it more like the first round in a boxing match. You fight against the Charontids and after you have dealt 15 damage to it no matter how many turns it takes you immediately read the First Round text and redeploy him on tile A02 with all damage and states removed. You then continue to fight him and once you have have dealt another 15 damage you read Second Round and choose if you want to continue fighting the Charontids in which case you move to Phase 2 and redeploy him like above with no damage or states (but now using the red side) on tile B10 or you end the mission.
Wait, so it's 15 wounds outside the Infirmary, THEN 15 wounds on A02 (deploying seed-soldiers and all that) and THEN optionally Phase 2? oh, wow. oh. OOH. So THAT is what the Charontid entry on Phase one means. Oh, God, that is really awfully written, no way I would understand it in that way If you didn't explain it. Beating one Boss 3 times - I felt something is really wrong. Thank you. Both entries similarly specifying inflicting 15 damage really confused me. Man, they should've added some 'Phase 0' or something, cause I really didn't see it as a separate phase. But now I see it, yeah. And I'm ashamed I couldn't comprehend it earlier.
